On September 13, 2019, I end of receiving the keys to my rental home. I was told everything was going to be fix but nothing was done.
On September, 13, 2019, I received my keys to my rental home. I was told all the problems with the home was going to be fix before I moved in. The date of moving in I was told not to enter or start moving in until later on that evening because they stained the floors. Once I entered the home, there was holes in the wall that was never fixed. The cooling system did not work. It was still at least 90+ degrees outside. I had a bedroom that was missing an entire door. Non of the bedrooms doors close or lock. I didn't have a key to my back door or my kitchen door. On September 16, 2019, I gave AMS a list of everything that needed to be done but nothing was ever completed. On September 30, 2019 a maintenance guy came over to take pictures and said someone will be over the next day to fix all the door in the home but no showed up. On October 2, 2019, my heating went out and nothing was done. I started to get cold. The temperature on the thermostat was reading 60 below. It was too cold to take a shower or live in the home. I need my deposit back from AMS to go towards another home. I an currently homeless and looking for a place to stay. I had to move out the house because the cold temperatures was unbearable.
I am looking to get my deposit back to get myself into another home. I am currently homeless. Getting my deposit will really help in this matter.
paid the security deposit on 8/29/19 for a rental property located in West Memphis, Arkansas. We agreed to hold the property until the middle of September because he didn't have enough money to pay rent and deposit at one time.
*** was scheduled to pick up keys on 9/13, but came in two days early (9/11) to pick up keys. At that time, we indeed had not completed the repairs, but agreed to have them done by late afternoon, so he could move in that evening.
At the time *** moved into the house, ALL repairs we had agreed to make had been made. *** never provided any list of repairs requested, and his ONLY call to our maintenance line was on October 10th, and related to a wasp nest outside the home.
*** NEVER called in a problem with his heat or a/c, and never requested any other repairs.
*** failed to pay rent for November, and was served an eviction notice on November 6th. *** finally moved out on November 18th.
*** forfeited his security deposit when we served the eviction notice.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I attached the maintenance list to this complaint ! I came in the office on 9/16/19 and gave them a copy of the list . The maintenance guy came over a week later with the list in his hand and took pictures of the home. I also gave a list to the owner of the home as well. Nothing was gone at all . The maintenance guy told me when he arrived at the house with the list he stated that everything wasn't going to be fix at one time and I understood that. He stated that someone will come the next day to fix the doors in the house because non of the door close or lock properly. The next day no one showed up. I moved out the house on November 6. An eviction notice was on my door on November 1 and rent is not due until the 5 of the month. I do understand why a eviction notice was even filed in the first place. They went into my home unannounced and seen my belongings was packed and decided to file an eviction notice. I need my deposit back to get into another place because they did not touch anything in the home that needed to be fixed
My air has went out. I called The maintenance number they came and fixed it and it went out again. I called Soon as it was getting hot again the lady told me it's not an emergency because it's not 85 degrees outside so when I got Home on 5/9/2019 I called My brother and asked have they came out he said no. I called Again and was told they wouldn't be out until Monday. I then Explained that this was inconvenient for me for having to find somewhere for me and my baby to stay. Also I called Them about my refrigerator that was in the house when I moved That's leaking water and was told by Donnie that I had To buy a new one because they wasn't gone fix it. That's not in my lease agreement
Repair Fix the air conditioner and have an on call maintenance person and to repair my refrigerator

As soon as the a/c issue was reported, we called the HVAC guy and asked him to check it. He is an independent contractor, and we do not control his schedule. Once he arrived, he serviced the unit, and it was cooling fine when he left. The next day *** called back and said it wasn't working again, so we sent the HVAC tech over to look at it. He determined the unit had a hole in it, and was losing Freon. He also stated we needed a new unit. A new unit was ordered that day, and was installed as soon as it came in. *** was without air conditioning for several days, but we were working on getting it repaired the whole time. I understand her frustration, but there was nothing more we could do.
