A friend of mine told me about AMS since his friend worked there. I had them build me a motor from the ground up. They charged me premium prices to do the work and I trusted them. Once I received the motor back and installed it in my car I noticed mechanical issues. First the intake manifold leaked so I calle Steve the owner and told him. He said it was my fault and hung up on me. Upon calling back he said he would fix it. He charged me $200 more and within a week it was leaking again. I took it to a local shop to fix the intake manifold and he found leaks in the intake, heads, and the oil pan. We pulled the motor out and to my dismay found the wrong head gaskets, wrong head studs, the crankshaft which he provided had grooves in it and the bearings and there were metal shavings in the oil pan. The mechanic called Steve at AMS and he told him to put leak stop in it? I emailed him but he doesn't respond. This guys a crook and now I have to basically replace the crankshaft, and rebuild my motor. I put maybe 150 miles on the car total and all this problem occured. My new mechanic said this engine would have broke again within another couple hundred miles. I totally taken advantage of. Stay far far away.
