Traveling for months require possessions to be concealed in the trunk the vehicleNew World admitted they know that is the case and I realize they cannot be held responsible.What they are responsible for is a safe and secure transport of my vehicle which was NOT provided.Please keep this complaint on file with Revdex.com and I will post as well at other travel sites

We here at New World Auto Transport feel very sorry for her loss of items she claims were taken out of her vehicleUnfortunately New World Auto Transport and it's carriers are not responsible for personal belongings that are left in the vehicle during transitWe here at New World Auto Transport
did everything we could to investigate what did and did not happen during the transit processWe spoke to all persons involved in the transportation process (drivers and dispatchers), and we cannot find any reason as to why the articles of clothing were stolen, and the suit case be put back in its condition.As far as any damage to the vehicle, we only heard about that after the vehicle was deliveredDays later she said there was a rattle in her car, and she took it to the muffler shop, and they claim that there had been recent paint, body work, and mechanical work done to the carWe spoke to the owner operator of the transport truck many times, and his daughter; and he claims he has no knowledge of this and we have no proof that we can blame them for the theft or damage. This is an unfortunate situation for our client, and we are very sorry for any inconveniencesWe tried everything we could do as a company to resolve all issues for herUnfortunately she had to resolve and resort to her own insurance to retrieve the cost of the stolen items. Please refer to our contractSpecifically terms 3, 5 TERMS AND CONDITIONS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!The customer is the registered legal owner of the vehicle(s) and has authority to enter into this Agreement or has been duly authorized by the legal owner of the vehicle(s) to enter into this AgreementCustomer shall prepare the vehicle(s) for transport by removing or properly securing all batteries, loose parts, fragile or protruding accessories, low hanging spoilers, antennas and other similar itemsThe Customer shall disarm any vehicle alarm system and provide New World Auto Transport with any tools or keys necessary to disarm the system if activatedIf the alarm system is activated during the transport of the vehicle, New World Auto Transport may deactivate the alarm system by any means that it or the transport driver deems reasonable and effective. Customer shall remove all detachable personal belongings from the vehicle(s). In no event, however, will New World Auto Transport be responsible for the safe transport of any such contentsCustomer or his agent, who has been identified in writing to New World Auto Transport, shall be present at the point of pior deliveryIf Customer or its authorized agent is not present for any reason, the vehicle(s) may be placed in storage if there is no one to leave the car with. If left at residence we are not held liable for any damages if the customer is not there to inspect the car upon delivery or pick up and sign the bill of ladingAll delivery dates and times are only estimatesNew World Auto Transport and its carriers will do their best to ensure pick up and deliver in the dates that have been specifiedIf the event it is delayed we will not be able to compensate for any loss of damage resulting from the delay such as rental car fees. New World Auto Transport reserves the right to engage independent sub-contractors to transport or ship vehicles at their discretionSuch independent sub-contractors are required to have adequate insurance coverage and to provide proof of such insurance to New World Auto TransportThe independent sub-contractor's insurance coverage is primary and is responsible for payment of any claims for loss or damage incurred while the vehicle is in their custody and controlIn the event of damages incurred while vehicle is in the care, custody and control of said independent sub-contractor all resulting claims must be directed to the company who physically delivered the vehicle and NOT New World Auto TransportNothing in this agreement binds carrier to pick up and/ or deliver to locations from which it is impractical to operate carrier's equipment because of inadequacies of highway, street, or passageways for loading or unloading facilities, local, state or federal lawIn the case that the driver may not be able to fit down the street, the customer may have to meet the driver at a better locationCustomer authorizes New World Auto Transport, its subcontractors, agents and employees to drive, park, store and otherwise operate or transport the vehicle(s)Customer shall maintain insurance on the vehicle that shall extend to New World Auto Transport’s operation of the vehicleIN NO EVENT SHALL NEW WORLD AUTO TRANSPORT, ITS SUBCONTRACTORS, AGENTS, OR EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES THAT DID NOT OCCUR DURING ACTUAL TRANSPORT EXCEPT FOR CAUSED BY NEW WORLD AUTO TRANSPORT’S GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR INTENTIONAL CONDUCTCustomer specifically agrees and hereby waives any other claims against New World Auto Transport or its subcontractor including, but not limited to minor damages such as those that result from road conditions and wear and tear; damages caused by leaking fluids from your vehicle, battery acid and/or cooling system anti-freeze solution; mechanical malfunctions; overloaded vehicles; defective brakes, damage caused as a result of the inoperable condition of the vehicle; damage that is undetectable due to the vehicle's dirty condition at the time of pior delivery; If the damage is caused by the sub-contractor a claim can be filed on their insurance that New World Auto Transport will provide you with. Customer shall identify any damage to any vehicle(s) by noting the damage on the Bill of Lading received by Customer at the time of deliveryAny claims related to such noted damage must be submitted in writing to New World Auto Transport or its subcontractor within hours of deliveryCustomer hereby waives any damage claims that are not noted on the Bill of Lading or for which Customer has not submitted a timely written claimIn no event shall New World Auto Transport be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, as the sub-contractor’s insurance must be the primary insurance any damage is filed on. Upon dispatch customer will be charged a dispatch fee depending upon total price to the supplied credit card on file and agreed on between customer and agentThis amount will be discussed before the card is ran, as it differs from customer to customerThe remaining balance will be due to the driver in form of cash, money order or cashier's checkThe entire amount of the transport charge is due and payable without discount upon tender of the vehicle(s)The entire amount can be ran on a credit card for a small fee but the order MUST be initially set up that wayIn the event that customer and/or its agent initiates a termination of services after the vehicle has been assigned to a driver for pick up (dispatched), New World Auto Transport reserves the right to charge customer and/or its agent a fee in the amount of one hundred fifty dollars, $150, for partial services rendered and to cover administration costs up the total amount of the depositCustomer is liable for all unpaid charges including, but not limited to sums advanced or disbursed by New World Auto Transport or its subcontractor and any and all cost of collection, including costs and reasonable attorney feesNew World Auto Transport will have a right to lien, to have a security interest, and/or right to possess the vehicle(s) based on, and as a consequence to, any charges that remain unpaid from the Customer and/or its' agentsAny such lien, security interest, and/or right to possess will survive the delivery of the vehicles. Performance under this contract shall be excused to the extent such performance is prevented by force majeureThe term "force majeure" shall include acts of God or the elements, acts of a public enemy, acts of terrorism, riots, strikes, labor disputes, fires, explosions, floods, acts or orders of civil or military authorities, or other causes beyond the reasonable control of the party declaring the force majeure eventsSuch excuse from performance shall continue until the force majeure event ceases to existThis Agreement supersedes all written or oral agreements between New World Auto Transport and Customer and may not be changed except when in writing by an officer of New World Auto TransportIn the case of any legal action against New World Auto Transport, it must take place in Houston, Texas in Harris County

problemEven though I was not able to immediately get the vehicle transported, he was able to locate a company that will be able to at a future dateI would highly recommend this company for anyone's moving needsHe really appears interested not in just getting the customer's item transported, but leaving the customer with a since of confidence that he cares about their concerns
