Amrak Chimney Sweeping & Remodel

Last year we had Chris out to clean all three chimneys on an older house we bought that hadn't seen maintenance for a while. He reported nothing unusual, cleaned them, all was well. We just had him out to clean the 2 in the main house, and a young kid came out this time. He reported nothing unusual, we paid him and he left. next day we light a fire, and the "ceiling " firebrick falls down, hanging into the fire, broke in half. We call, explain, he says ok, you buy the material, I will come out myself and replace, no cost. He sends out the kid again, with someone else. My husband had asked to replace all sides since we were buying materials anyway, maybe if one broke, they all might need replacing, which Chris said ok to. The 2 young guys struggle to get the things cut to fit, and in the end, the back panel does not go up as high, so there is a gap. I call to complain I'm not happy with the job, because of that. He tells me his guys used the old pieces as templates, so it has to have been like that. I even sent him pictures of the after to show him the gap. The problem is the 2 workers failed to notice that the old side panels aren't made the same, they have a different top portion that allowed the ceiling panel to slope downward toward the back. They should have mentioned the difference in panels, instead of just moving forward. We will be filing a formal complaint.
