A few weeks NOT months after Michael S's crew left my home the ceilings still continued to leak. This caused water damage to my home. The new contractor I hired to fix the problem said it looked like "someone stopped halfway." With respect to doing the repairs. He found it shocking that the flashing was missing. Why didn't S tell me this? S never brought up capping my chimney. Why not? Regardless the new contractor was able to fix my roof. His repairs NOT S's have prevented further water incursion. This casts a shadow of doubt on ALL the work that S and his crew did.

I wish I had done a "Google" search, a "Revdex.com" search, and a PA Docket Sheets search on Michael S first. Now I know why he tried getting me to send funds to a "PayPal" address that wasn't his. Because the default setting is "family and friends" which makes it hard to challenge on "PayPal."

Michael S might be a good guy gone wrong. He was polite and helpful until the chips were down. Then he wouldn't stand behind the work he and his crew did. Only when I turned up the "heat" did he offer to help me, but by then I already had most of the work fixed by the new contractor. It was too little too late. So I insisted that Michael S return my money. That is when he became defensive and hostile.

It is possible he spent my money. It is possible he has run out of money. I don't know his issue. I wanted to resolve things with him in private. I am committed to not being another one of his victims.

Now I need all my money back so I can get the new good contractor to fix everything. At least it turns out that Michael S was not right. My roof doesn't yet need a full replacement. He was trying to up-sell me on one. It makes me wonder if that is why the roof work he did was unsatisfactory. It was a set up to sucker me into making a bigger purchase. Not nice of him.

The other negative review under this profile tells the whole story. Mike, from Amilli Paint & Landscape is a crook. He will agree on a lower price with you at the beginning and appears quiet and polite. At that point, he then immediately subs out the work to sketchy contractors who appear under the influence, are unprofessional and do an incomplete job. He won't guarantee any of his work and midway through will try to jack up the price by stating that some materials were not available or "did you want this kind of ____ or that kind?" - with one or both of those answers resulting in additional cost. He also will not field complaints and threatens you when you attempt to hold him to his word, or to stand by his work. In summary - the terms of the contract are not enforced, the work product is very poor (I only purchased landscaping - the work was shoddily done, overpriced and when confronted about it Mike stated that not paying "would be a bad idea for me"), Mike is unprofessional and so are his contractors, and this business is fraudulent. I genuinely thought about reporting this as a scheme. Had I paid him more, I would have filed this complaint in court. DO NOT make my mistake.

I hired Michael Skoncey of Amilli Paint and Landscape DBA Genesis Remodeling group to remodel my nail salon. We had a contract for $45,000 an timeframe of 45 days. He gutted my existing salon and then the price of everything went up to total $67,000 renovation. On top of this, he demanded the last payment upfront and after he received the payment, he did not complete $8300 worth of work that I had to pay out of pocket again to finish the plumbing, install a led exterior building sign, brick and mortar up exterior door way, and material. Never trust this fool. He has no clue how to do any of the work. All he does is sit at home, goes on Craiglist and finds the cheapest subcontractors to do the job. I had a existing business where he destroyed costing me 6 months and alot of money.

I hired Michael S to remodel my bathroom. He comes off with a few reviews and the pitch that he is a church oriented company that does home remodeling. This is couldn't be farther from the truth. In all reality his a craigslist con man who gets jobs, subs them out in the begining, and runs whenever you pay him the second portion of his contract.
He had a few people come to my house to start the project and none of them ever finsihed anything. Each one that came after the first said the previous guy didn't know what he was doing and that everything is wrong and needs to be redone. A few of them didnt have any tools and asked me if I had any. A few more came with tools and no idea why they were there and asked what to do. All this while Michael is MIA.
The downfall of all this was when I had my walls drywalled 3 times because of previous screw ups. The third contractor got in a verbal argument with Mr. S on the phone in my house about the lackluster work he was suppsed to clean up and ended up walking out. I got on Michaels case about this and all the construction debris left around my house, the trash/cigarette butts his people left in my yard, and my complete displeasure in the whole experience. He was very unresponsive or apologetic and kept offering excuse after excuse. This two week project was turning into a nightmare as two weeks went by and everything needed to be redone.
To try and place me and have me give him another $3800 he then kept bringing in a row of different subs he found online to finish the job and wanted me to explain them over and over again about what I wanted. None ever showed up for work. Michael would always tell me the night before that they wouldnt be coming.
All this wasnt even the last straw. The last straw was when he wanted me to provide construction materials to fix his guys screwups after I already paid him close to $8k.
He has since abandoned my project as in not returning any correspondances. After a little googling sleuthing I discoverd he has been doing this for years and changing company names every so often after he loses a few lawsuits. He is fraudster through and through and is unjustly enriching himself by ripping off clients he finds online.
His previous business was called Dependable Remodeling Inc and the google reviews + PA court dockets tell the real story of who Michael S really is.
