Regards,
We can check the unit again to validate it is working. I will call MR. R[redacted] to set up a visit.

Regards,
Never received said email from this [redacted] fella, I received a call approx a week ago from someone from ameriflo at 8am in the morning when I was dropping off my 4 kids at school, I asked if they could give a call back in ten minutes when I was done with dropping my kids off. He said OK and I never heard anything since.
Still have brine water leaking on the floor and down driveway so not sure if that is fixed.
I have spoken to [redacted] and offered a resolution, and I have called twice to follow up however [redacted] has been busy which I understand. [redacted] Ameriflow water systems Inc.
Ameriflow water systems Inc. was not the seller of the equipment [redacted] owns. We do have the phone number listed on the owners manual however this is only because the company that previously had the number has been dissolved. The contractual warranty obligations are quite possibly with PureTec Water Services AKA [redacted]. Ameriflow Water Systems Inc. is a new company that began doing business in August 2007.
In the spirit of compromise we have phoned Mrs. [redacted] on several occasions to resolve this issue. Several times Mrs. [redacted] has been busy and has told us she would get back to us after we offered a significant reduction in price to help resolve the issue for $199.00 which amounts to $179.00 off normal pricing.
The original warranty at this point is limited to vessel replacement only for external leaks, this does not cover labor or internal failures of the media distributor or collector.
It is not reasonable to expect a new unit or a free repair on equipment that is more than 8 years old with a limited warranty. We feel we are more than reasonable to have offered the reduction in repair price for equipment we did not sell.
At this point we are not sure what to do if this offer is not accepted. We do not do free repairs however we are willing to compromise and we have shown that willingness. If a more favorable price is found by a reputable and capable company we will gladly consider meeting or beating the price.
Thank you

I was told they were not the correct company but they will help me out. Even though my original paperwork has the same contact phone number . I was told this should of never happened in the first place and that it will not happen again. I don't believe it will not happen again. I was offered for them to come out and fix my exsisting softner at a cost to me of 199.00 and then a 30 day warranty. This is not acceptable at all. So after 30 days and this happens again I am out of luck on a machine that it supposed to have a lifetime warranty. I have talked to many plumbers and they all agree this softner should have lasted a lot longer than 8 years. I feel that I am entitled to a new water softner with a lifetime warranty

Ameriflow have a duty of care to fix any problems with the system that was installed by them and there is a one year manufacturers warranty.
They have to honour the warranty as per the FTC guidelines.

The techs won't leave unless you sign the repair tag, and because you sign a tag and leave a job doesn't mean it is working the next day. Mr [redacted] works out of the state and isn't behind a desk to jocky phone calls all day, but just as the ameriflo secratery and techs that came out only insists to speak to a male, numerous phone calls made to ameriflo by the female were reject and told to have Mr call. Same goes to the 2nd tech that came out , he refused to do work because he couldn't take to male in household. When 100% was expanded via phone to what problems were.

It is likely this complaint results from Mr. R[redacted] having paid for two installations one to his hired plumber and one to us Ameriflow. Mr. R[redacted] paid us $169.00 to reinstall an improperly installed water softener on 1/9/2016 where we found a complete unit simply not installed...
correctly. Mr. R[redacted] paid and signed for our services including validation that the water softener does work. It would be nearly impossible to determine build up inside a pipe and as far as dishes are concerned many variables exist outside of water softness that can cause dish spotting, things like to much detergents, poor drying rate are some examples of cause. We do not feel any refund or reimbursement is warranted because the workmanship and equipment performance have been validated.
The charge has been removed.

I am forwarding pictures that show why I am dissatisfied with their response. Their response was that they could of repaired the leak without the water softener being removed. As you can see from the pictures there is no way that they could of left the water softener in place so that the damage that it caused could be repaired. As a matter of fact the insurance adjuster that was sent said that they would have to disconnect the hot water tank to repair the damage. I hope that the photographs explain why I am dissatisfied with Ameriflow's response.
Regards,
After considering the different types of water softeners and water filters that were available in Arizona, the best option for our family was a combination of a water softener and a water filter, specifically known as a Krystal Guard Pro. The Krystal Guard Pro is put into the Krystal Pure (available at your local [redacted]) resin tank at the factory, which is manufactured in [redacted], AZ. The reason for this is because the filter will get rid of the chlorine, chloramine, and contaminants found in Arizona water. The softener itself rids of calcium and magnesium that leave the white build-up on all household fixtures, not to mention, you won’t need to replace your water heater every 3-6 years.. We are actually using less soap and detergent water-using appliances. My wife and daughter’s hair & skin look & feel softer, due to the hard water that was drying the body out. I saved money & am a happy guy that does not hear the wife and daughter complain anymore. Our entire experience from the purchase of the Krystal Pure/Krystal Guard Pro/Water Softener to the install, and additional over the phone questions, have been painless! The Customer Service at Ameriflow is superior. Those ladies in the office, know their stuff. Last but not least, currently, [redacted] has a phenomenal deal on the Krystal Pure. If you purchase the KS64 water softener, you receive the Krystal Guard for a penny, and the install is FREE. Thank you Ameriflow for very respected install technicians and superb phone assistance from your Customer Service department.
We will send a check for $47.52 allow approximately 2 weeks for processing.
The consumer simply asked us to remove the unit and get rid of it. We did as the consumer indicated, the consumer signed off and paid for the service and declined repairs. Not sure what else we can do, when we do what the consumer asks. At this point the unit has been discarded and...
I am not even sure as to what the problem or where a leak may have came from.
Thank you

Again we did what the customer asked us to do which was remove the water softener and get rid of it. When we were phoned it was remove this thing, so that is what we did, we were told by the customer they did not want the water softener. Not sure what else we can do when we do exactly what is asked.
Not sure what to do next, we have a signed invoice from 2/18/14 that in our opinion indicates things are ok. Emails sent apparently do not go through and I have left a message for Mr. [redacted] with his wife to call me with any additional concerns.
Thank you

Review: I purchased a ET50H water softener in Dec 2009, In October of 2014 the tank leaked and caused over $1500 in damages, because of a physical disability I was unable to turn the water off, a service technician was sent out, and per my request the water softener was removed. I contacted the manager at Ameriflow, and it was explained to me that the problem could have been repaired without having to remove the system. My question still remains that even if they could have repaired the issue, the water softener would have to be removed to repair the damage that it caused.
As far as I am concerned Ameriflow should be held responsible for the damage that was caused because of a faulty system. Not only did I have to pay for them to come out and remove the system, I was then told by the manager of Ameriflow that now that the system has been removed, whatever the problem was could have been repaired, and that the water softener had been discarded. My position is and will remain that even if the water softener was repaired, it would still have had to been removed in order to fix the damage that was caused.Desired Settlement: I would like an explanation of how the water softener could have been left intact, so that the damages could be repaired. As far as I am concerned Ameriflow should be held liable for the insurance deductible.

Review: I purchased an Ameriflow branded Krystal Pure Water Softener system with a supposed 25 year warranty, and less than 5 years into owning the product it started to leak profusely into my garage leaving salt sediment all over the floor. I called to schedule an appt and explained where the leak was coming from and was told it would be covered under warranty, and I would just need to pay the $79.99 service fee. I agreed and scheduled them to come out on 3/25. Due to myself having to be out of town on the date scheduled, my brother was the contact for the appt. The tech said the part wasn't covered under the warranty, even though the woman I spoke to on the phone said it should be covered under warranty, causing an additional charge for the part replacement.Desired Settlement: Honor what the individual I spoke to on the phone said, and cover the parts that were broken and leaking, and issue a refund.
