America's Best Value Airport Inn

I prepaid for 5 days parking (Aug 15-20) and shuttle rides to/from SeaTac. There was no shuttle driver on the premises for my scheduled 6:00 am trip on Aug. 15. I missed my flight and had to fly Standby that day. I called the Desk Clerk as soon as I found out I had missed my flight. He said they would work out a discount when I returned 5 days later.

I returned Aug 20 and called for the Airport Inn Shuttle (#). On my return trip It took several phone calls and more than 40 minutes to get picked up! I had to call several times before the shuttle finally showed up. The driver was very rude, making a hand gesture by pointing 2 fingers towards his eyes and then pointing them at me saying it was "my job to flag him down." I told him that I had been standing at the phone I called from on Island 1b where he should have turned in. He continued arguing with me in the shuttle. He showed no consideration for what had happened and would not accept any responsibility let alone express regret about the circumstance.

I tried to talk to the desk clerk about this when I got back but he just looked away after telling me it was "my fault" that I didn't get picked up. I couldn't believe that these 2 employees felt no obligation to at least apologize for the inconvenience regardless of the reasons I had to wait more than 40 minutes to be picked up. They were both rude and defensive.

I then asked the clerk what kind of arrangement may have been made for a discount after missing my flight 5 days earlier. He said there were no notes left and I would have to talk with the manager who was not on duty.

I called the following day (Aug 21) and learned I had to email the manager who was rarely at the business. The email came back as "undeliverable" so I called again (Aug 22). I was told they wold give the manager my contact info and he would email me. I called again on Aug 23 & 24 saying I hadn't heard from him yet.

I had a horrible experience using this park and ride for airport parking and shuttle. The man behind the counter was very rude, would not answer any questions I had. He acted like he did not want to be there. On my receipt he signed A.L. The van was trashed on the inside; food debris on the seats (even though there was a sign for no eating on the van), The seats were worn out, sagging off the end of the bar seat. The driver did not put down the step, even though there were people struggling to get in and out of the van.

The worst part was coming home. I called approx. 1 p.m. to ask them to pick me up at the airport. A woman answered the phone and took my information. Within 10 min. the airport staff asked people to move to the airport baggage level due to a motorcycle fire on the van pickup level. I immediately called America's Best back to inform them. She thanked me profusely. Multiple vans came by, but not America's best. I waited another 15 minutes, then called them back. A man, initials A.L., said the airport would not allow them to pick up on the baggage claim level, and asked me to go back to the van pick up level, which I did. It took me about 2 minutes to get there. A.L. said he would send the van out again, and asked me to look for #64 in the van window. I waited another 20 minutes. I meticulously looked and stayed in the exact same spot. Other vans came and went, but no van America's Best or #64 (their van is clearly marked America's Best). I called again asking where the van was. A.L. said he had sent the van out three times for me, and I needed to pay more attention, and that I obviously was in the wrong place to be picked up. I told him I was in the same area I was dropped off at, I meticulously looked for the van, and I had not moved. He was adamant that I was at fault, which I was not. I don't think he sent the van out at all. They are not America's Best, but are AMERICA'S WORST. After this conversation, I got a cab to get to my car. It was obvious he really didn't care. I will never use this company again.
