Review: Ordered hardwood floors for 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I paid about $1100 for the material. It was partially installed in mid-December. They did not bring the 5 pcs. of strip to go between the tile and the new floor and 2 trim pcs for the sliding doors. They said they would be back Jan.7th. I've had at least 6 promise dates from them to finish the job. When they installed the floors they asked me to pay $2300 so he could pay his laborers. I said I didn't want to pay until the job was finished. He asked if he could hold back $500 and I pay the rest so he could pay his men B-4 Christmas. I said okay and put $1900 on my visa. After 5 broken dates, several emails, no calls returned, I called Visa on January 20th and had them reverse the $1900 charge. That got him to call me back. I told him I'm not trying to cheat him out of anything, I just needed to get his attention. Monday I was told someone would call right back to set up an appointment. Tuesday the guy called and said he'd be here at 10:30 today. At 11:45 he called to say he couldn't make it today (car trouble). I've wasted several hours waiting for them to show up for scheduled appointments.Desired Settlement: I would like to have another company finish the job and call the $1100 I gave America's Best Hardwood the final payment

Picked up moldings and installed them on 2/10/14- Job complete.

Paid special trip charge to go install moldings
