Stay far away from this company
Installers cracked the walls in the bedroom and bathroom that butt up against the install walls.
Company refuses to repair the damage. I am afraid to fix it on my own... what happens if I damage the work that they did on accident. They won't come fix that either.

America's Bath has just been great. From Tom our sells person who kinda helped me with making decisions on what all I should get in my shower. Not pushy and knew his product. Then Christina called to setup the measurement guy coming out as well as my install date, I was the customer that probably called her at least once a week (just kidding) but I did feel like I made a lot of calls to her adding on more things (making changes), I KNOW I was getting on her last nerve but she was always so sweet and never made me feel I should leave her alone. After the beautiful shower was installed of course I would be the one to have a problem. She setup my appointment and MY Matt came out. Between the two of them I feel they are just the best. Matt installed my shower. He likes to get everything just perfect. He had to come back through no fault of his and I'm glad he did have to return because he knew I wasn't completely happy with my shower doors and he REPLACED them and made me COMPLETLY HAPPY. I LOVE my bath room now that I have my beautiful shower in it. Thank you so much Christina and Matt. BY the way I've had my shower since April and I'm just now writing the review because I wanted to make sure EVERYTHING was working perfect. I just got out of the shower.LOL

Thank you very much for your comments. As owner of a company, there is nothing more gratifying than when you hear from a customer after the fact that the people you employ do the right thing. I am very fortunate to employ good people. I thank you for your unsolicited comments.

America’s Bath owned up to their mistakes and that is a huge thing for companies, they followed up with emails and phone calls and did what they said they would do..

We seen America’s Bath Company at the Pheasant Run Home Show and really liked the product they carried, we also liked the fact when their sales person come out he did not pressure us at all. We are very happy with the outcome and would recommend America’s Bath Company.

We had a good experience with America’s Bath, they were on time both days. We were very pleased with the promptness, and the installation team went over our order with us before starting to make sure it was correct, they even went over the height of the shower head to make sure it worked for my husband and myself. We are very pleased with the outcome.

We had our project installed this past summer. My wife and I were very impressed in that the company did everything they said which is a bit different than some other projects we have had completed in the past. The installers were friendly and did a great job. They were careful with our house. One of the storage units came in damaged, but the company was able to get a replacement ordered and installed about 2 weeks later. We are very pleased with our decision and love our new shower.

I checked into the other companies and they didn’t do a complete tear down and when we saw the Ad in the paper we decided to get a consultation with America’s Bath. The fact that it wasn’t grout, tile or fiberglass made us go for the cultured stone look, the Design Consultant was very polite and the installation team was great and cleaned up very well. We also had a window in our bathroom and they framed it really nice with the cultured stone.

Amazing company that listens to customers throughout the process. If you are ready to work with a top rate construction company look no further.

We went to the Lake County Fairgrounds for a Home Show and liked the looks of the cultured stone. We were originally wanting tile but had seen America’s Bath Company and had them come out and are very happy we did.

America’s Bath Company was friendly, thorough and have a great product. The cultured stone gives every feature we could want.

I had a consultation on Sept 20, 2019. I unfortunately had to cancel an appt prior due to an emergency.
For the most part the consult was ok, a bit odd, but nothing to complain about for the most part. There were a couple of issues I felt he company should know about (not necessarily complaints) so I emailed them the following email...

Dear Adrienne,

We just finished up our appt. We appreciate that you guys came out. We are a bit disappointed in a couple of things.

First, when we saw your display at the fair you had a set up with glass like inserts within the stone. That is what made us stop and sign up. Your sales guys informed us this morning that that is no longer an option but you continue to advertise it. If it is advertised it should be available. You need to update your display.

Second, I was confirming with my boyfriend on what to do, debating to apply for credit when he interrupted to show us his last two sales and the amounts they were, then proceeded to inform us, "as you can see by these prices your project is on the LOWWWW end. My sales are normally well ove $10,000." My boyfriend and I just looked at each other an the debate was over. We did not accept the offer.

I would have gone for it in a heartbeat if the advertising of the glass inserts were not false and your sales guy was not sooooo insulting, he did say that with an inflection in his voice that I can not replicate in an email.

I'm not sure who needs to see this email, you are the only email contact I have. I would hope you would pass this on to whoever could make these changes and corrections. Unfortunately, we both lost out today. As stated, I would have signed up today had it not been for the above issues.

Thank you,
TW

I did receive a call from their project manager requesting if there was anything I would like to tell her as I had emailed them. I stated everything in the email but she wanted to hear it again, ok, I repeated myself. She did not seem to want to hear any of it. She did say the sales person mis spoke about the glass inserts and apologized that he mis spoke although she wasn't there to witness the conversations. She proceeded to say good luck in your project but it is obvious we were not a good fit.

I have to say I was a bit taken back by that and was upset. I had told them I was getting ready to move forward after my boyfriend and I discussed it but because of the insulting comment we were intrupted with we decided to not sign. How is that not a good fit? It was an insult from ONE representative bit the company as a whole. This company seems to make A LOT of excuses as I've researched. So instead of this one person being the issue we were just not "a good fit", I guess because we don't enjoy being insulted in our own home and the company and its employees can't own up to their faults.

Let the excuses fly. Let them rebut and state how I'm not stating the facts correctly. Let them state I'm incorrect on everything. Everyone who has has similar issues can't all be wrong. I just had a bad experince...it happens, no need to attack the people these experiences happen too. But you have yo allow them to inform othere of their experience without attacking and making excuses. No person and company is perfect. Finally admit your company was in the wrong for once.

After this additional E xperince on the phone....they are right, we are not a good fit. I enjoy good customer relations!

We are certainly disappointed this prospective customer had a negative experience with us. We see over a 1,000 homeowners a year and sadly there may be a mismatch or a bad experience from time to time. As you can see by our reviews, we have a stellar reputation from those who have done business with us. With that being said, we pay attention to patterns and if we have a sales person who could be a bad actor, we usually find out about it really quick. However, this sales person has been with us over a year and we have never had such comments made about him. The comments are usually positive. The salesperson advised us of this appointment immediately upon leaving to express his version of what took place. His version is far different from this prospects version so we maintain our opinion of the events, but there are always 2 sides to a story. . Furthermore, we have voice recordings of the interactions with this prospect with our operations manager with a phone call that took place days later as a follow up to the email. This prospect hung up on our operations manager.
However, with that being said. We stopped offering a mosaic inlay (inserts as this prospect refers to) because the grout was failing thus causing problems for customers that purchased it in the past. The sales person was right, however he should have called us to verify that we could still do it if the customer really wanted it. We could have installed it and had the customer sign a waiver voiding our lifetime warranty as it relates to the mosaic inlay or pay a far higher price if she wanted us to warranty it. Either way, until a different way of installing it can be discovered, we do not recommend having it be completed. Our displays are being in the process of being updated.

We requested a quote in July 2019. Then on July 22nd we decided to decline the contract as pricing was too high compared with other quotes. To my surprise this company informed us that we had to pay 10% of the value quoted when we were told that we could keep it as a quote valid for a year. Then they sent us the statement for about $800 stating that we did not cancel the contract within the 3 business days when we received the phone call, we refused on July 22nd and they stated it was on July 24th on purpose. Then when we filed a complaint as a retaliation we are now stuck with $2300 bill when we are not going to proceed with their remodeling services. This is a complete fraud.

First of all, America's Bath never has an intention to defraud anyone by any means. We are proud of our reputation and follow the laws which are established in the states for which we do business.
In this case. This customer signed a contract dated 7/20/19 for a tub replacement utilizing a finance company. With any purchase in the state of Illinois, a consumer has 3 business days from the date of purchase to cancel their purchase. Furthermore, the state of Illinois requires us to supply the consumer with special paperwork for the consumer to sign which clarifies their right to cancel and the procedure for such which in this case is to supply notice in writing by signing the attached document. With that being said, we do have people who cancel from time to time, which is fine with us, they usually call us and let us know and we advise them to send in the paperwork and we set their file aside until the paperwork arrives, we match it up and process the cancellation / refund on our end.
In this case, the customer advised our install scheduler that she wanted to postpone scheduling her project vs. having it installed right away. Our install scheduler advised her the project had to be installed within 4 months of purchase date as mandated by the finance company. No date was set and file was sent to operations manager to follow up on. Finally on 7/31, our operations manager was able to speak with the customer to further clarify the project had to be completed within 4 months. Customer advised she needed to talk with her daughter. On 8/5 phone call with our operations manager, the customer advised she wanted to cancel at which point she was far outside the 3 day right of cancellation and our operations manager advised her of such.
At this point, we have invested time and energy into this project, along with preparing the orders with the manufactures for material. Our contract allows us to keep a deposit / down payment, however in the interest of being fair, we stated to the customer that we would refund her less 10% of the contract price which was equivalent to what we had invested in the project thus far. Customer agreed to such verbally, but then never signed the paperwork we then sent her electronically to cancel the the project.
On 8/26, we received a letter from an attorney representing the customer related to this matter at which point we provided a written response that stated now as a result, we would withdraw the settlement amount of 10% because we will now be incurring legal fees to deal with the matter since the contract legally allows us to keep the full deposit. Now on 9/13, the customer submitted this negative review to Revdex.com.
In summary, 1), we still have never received the cancellation notice from the customer (which is required by law) 2) we went back through our phone records, phone recordings, email history, etc. The dates the customer references in this review, do not remotely match up to the records of phone calls that came from the customer or placed to the customer by us. We have full records here at our offices and will gladly share to anyone to back up this file and to prove that we do not have any intention to defraud anyone.
We are a professional company that keeps detailed records and recordings of all interactions with the company to protect both the company and the consumer. Furthermore, we are very fair and understand if a customer has extenuating circumstances that we will work with a customer and have done so on many occasions.

We saw America’s Bath at the Lake County Fair in Grayslake along with some other bath companies, but the product you had stuck out to us and we really liked the stone, after speaking with the Brand Ambassador and then the Design Consultant we decided to go with America’s Bath Company, everyone we have come in contact with have been very nice, knowledgeable and never made us feel pressured. We have already recommended America's Bath Company to our family & friends!

If you want to have a first class product and operation, this is the place to go.

Great job, love the new shower. Left area clean. The products used exceeded our expectations. Only took 2 days to finish.

Service, installation and product is great. I love the look and it’s maintenance free.

We normally don’t go with a company on their first visit to our home, but we did and we were so glad. When they tore out our old shower they found black mold on our subfloor and they meticulously removed and repaired. We love our new shower.

I was amazed I could afford this product. The result is beyond my expectations, but even more appealing was the team I dealt with from sales to installation, and the final walk through.

Everybody was so nice and it was a smooth operation.

Everything was quick and easy, and came out exactly the way we wanted.
