American Institute of Forensic Education

My complaint is with American Institute of Forensic Education (AIFE). The website is presented as a legitimate business owned by a registered nurse. I tend to be very cautious when dealing with internet businesses. Because I thought AIFE offered what I needed to further my career, I proceeded to purchase their "product". I paid this "business" $350.00 plus another $78.64 for an online course of study for certification, as well as included book and DVD. Not until the payment was submitted was I informed that I would receive a payment confirmation and instructions to download the materials within 3 business days. Having purchased online products in the past that were readily available for downloading, I thought it to be a bit odd not to have immediate access. I gave it a change (knowing how busy nurses can be). Anxious to get started, and needless to say, I was very disappointed on the third business day when my "product" was not available as instructed. Attempts were made via email and phone...both turned out to be non-existent communications. It was then I knew I was dealing with a possible fraudulent seller. It's really sad and pathetic that someone would go to these extremes to steal from honest working folks. I'm reporting and posting this so that no one else has to deal with these internet thieves. STAY AWAY FROM TAIFE.COM!!!
