salesman explained this to the customer and explained that she was free to get a Carfax report on her own if she chose toBefore purchasing this vehicle the customer claimed she ran a Carfax report but would not show the salesman a copyBEFORE this customer purchased the vehicle she took it to an ASC Certified mechanic at a local shop for an inspection, she was given a list of things they foundOn this list were tires in which they estimated at *** We purchased these tires for the customer with our discount and saved her almost half of this amount and fixed some small repairs at no extra charge like wipers and valve stem covers ectWe came down on our selling price *** and also told her any other repairs she chose to do we would get her parts at our costWe include a day limited drive train warranty on all of our vehicles at no cost to the customer, an upgrade on the warranty is available for the customer to purchaseThis upgrade was offered to the customer and was refusedWe also are NOT required to include a warrantyThe customer was provided with a packet explaining all of the covered parts and amount covered
When the customer's daughter broke down she called our salesman and told him that the owner's took advantage of her and sold her a piece of crap, the salesman apologized that she was having an issue and assured her we had no idea that the car had transmission issues, reminded her that she had the inspection and no transmission problems were found and her FREE day warranty included towing and rental car if she chose to use itThe customer continued harassing the salesman and the owner on their personal cell phones, and then her daughter called the owner on her personal cell phone and was extremely rude and disrespectful claiming we took advantage of a poor college student with debts claiming we knew the car had issues when we sold it to herThe owner told her that we would NEVER intentionally sell a vehicle to ANYONE knowing it had issues, and that you cannot predict when a car is going to break down
The customer had an estimate for repairs on her vehicle from the Fort Wayne Nissan dealership for *** The owner, trying to save the customer money offered to have our tow driver who was already in Fort Wayne at that time, take the vehicle to Jess Lewis transmission shop that works on those vehicles (we called in advance to verify)The customer replied to the owner that is was her birthday and that she did not want to deal with it at that timeThe owner explained that she did not have to do anything other than agree that she wanted to take it elsewhere and that if our tow driver had to do it another day it would cost more for him to make another trip to Fort WayneThe next day the customer replied that she called Jess Lewis and they would not work on her type of transmissionThis was an out right lie, we called Jess Lewis AGAIN and they said they work on those transmissions all of the time, they said it should not cost more that *** at the most and that the customer never called themThe customer then asked the owner if we were willing to pay for any of the repairs at the Nissan dealership she was told no, we tried to help her and it was not convenient for her and that she lied to us and we are not willing to help her any furtherIf she had not bad mouthed us on social media, and had her disrespectful daughter call and tell off the owner, we would have helped her, even after this we tried to help her and it wasn't convenient for herThis customer claims her resolution to be for the next customer to have a Carfax and a certified inspection done and the FREE vehicle inspection plan to be explained in detail ALL of which SHE HAD PRIOR to purchasing this vehicle herself
