American Towing and Recovery

A contractors car was towed from my residence , I called the tow company American towing & recovery got the voice mail saying hrs are 9-we are now closed car was towed after 5pm we went to the location in hopes their was someone there to take the payment and release the carWhen we arrived the tow yard was opened and one guy was on the lot who told us that their closed and their is nothing he could doI ask him to call a owner if they can tow 24hrs their should be someone to take the payment later a Brood of Vipers showed up cursing and yelling get off the property
I never raised my voice I just wanted to know how much would be the cost for the car these tow guy showed up cursing and ready to fight they had no regard for the child who was standing their with usHorrible customer service and very disrespectful

Review: This company towed my car in an area where there were no signs stating that my car would be towed. I called them when I discovered that my car was missing and they told me I had to pay $300 plus $50 extra a day for storage. So I ask them how to go about getting my car back and they told me that I couldn't on that day, but I'm still being charged $50 for that day.I called back early the next morning and politely explained to the owner/manager the situation. He told me that I could pick the car up as long as I had $350 and my ID (unfortunately I had just misplaced my ID). So he told me he would stop the $50 a day charge and leave the price at $350 until I could make it to the DMV to get a duplicate of my ID. So I agreed.The next day I called him back and said that I was getting my ID and I would be there shortly to pick up the car. He then told me that the cost was now $495 (going back on his word)... I asked him why he went back on his word and raised the price. His response was "Because you're acting like a dick."I don't think that it's legal to raise a price on a particular person because you feel that they were "acting like a dick."Also, the only reason that he felt that I was "acting like a dick" is because I told him I was taking the situation to court because I didn't feel that it was legal to tow my car the way he did, not to mention raising prices on me. Where I come from thats called "Discrimination" and "Extortion"...Desired Settlement: I would like to get my car back at the normal rate that they charge everybody else. But better yet, I believe that I should get my car back at no charge because I don't believe that my car should have been towed in the first place, that's why I'm taking this to court.
