On Saturday, May 23, 2020 around 10:30 AM Eastern Time I was driving down Ridge Road in Parma, OH by Sun Vista Drive headed to my house. During that time ARL was painting the lines on the Ridge Road. When I arrived home, I saw my 2016 GMC Sierra covered in yellow road paint. My rear wheel wells, the whole driver side front wheel wells, the back bumper, the frame, rims, and tires; as well as a few spots in the passenger side of the vehicle. I immediately drove back to the construction area to speak with the foreman from ARL (Johnny G) because there was no wet paint signs or cones around the wet paint. I was advised to take it to a car wash and it should come off easily. I immediately drove to the car wash down the street, and it did not come off at all. The car wash tenant even mentioned there were several people who stopped there with the same issue. I then drove back to the construction area and spoke with Mr. G again. He proceeded to tell me to take it somewhere to have it fixed, and then take the receipt to ARL and they would refund me what I paid to get it fixed no questions asked. To ensure everything would be logged of the incident I filed a police report as well. Because it was a holiday weekend I rushed to the closest available detail shop, Jealously Auto Detailing in Parma, OH that same day. I picked up my truck the following day and paid $540. On Tuesday, May 26th I called ARL at the number I was given (330-659-2013). I spoke with the receptionist and she advised me Chad the person who handled these disputes was out on the field. I had to call back for 2 days to finally speak with Ben. Ben told me the situation would need to be reviewed and get back to me. I sent Ben pictures of my truck, the receipt, and the police report number. On Friday, May 29th I received an email from Ben advising me that they were not responsible for my damaged truck. I am now left with spending $540 dollars on my truck for damage that their negligence caused. And now they don’t want to assume responsibility when I was advised they would take care of the damage they caused.
