This company refinished a bathtub 4 years ago and did a very nice job - we were happy with the results. A couple months ago, we noticed a small wear spot in the finish and contacted the company because we had a 5-year warranty. They called back promptly, an appointment was set, and the technician came on time. However, when I said we would like some additional work done that we were willing to pay for, he said he didn't have all those supplies with him but would come back and take care of everything - the warranty work and the extra work for $35. We set a date. He didn't show up.
I called back to ask what happened at least twice. A week later, the technician left me a message saying it was all his fault, he'd put the wrong date on the calendar and to call him back. I did but got voicemail. For the next month, I called both the business phone number and the technician's phone number (always voicemail). No one returned my phone call. I finally left a message saying we were done being patient and we would now seek another company and pay for service that should have been free in addition to contacting the Revdex.com. Still no response.
We were very happy with the product and the employees and have no idea why we were dropped with no explanation. A couple years ago, I recommended them to a friend who had a similar experience: she left a message saying she'd like a tub refinished, and they never responded to her. Very disappointed with this follow-up. They should at least stand by their warranty, and we were willing to pay for the additional work.
