I'll start off by saying this funeral home has been used by our family for decades but after using them for my sister,which passed away July2015,we will NEVER use them again.My sister passed away suddenly and was such a sweet,loving person and deserved the very best.Unfortunately, she had no burial insurance.Another sister was footing the bill.She dished out over $for cremation and was told the very next day that she couldn't be cremated but was told she needed to pay them another$and was NEVER explained what the first big amount was for,since it apparently wasn't for cremation.Our family went to view her body and was told there would be no funeral so we had minutes to say our goodbyes.I myself went throughout funeral home before we even got to view the body and I knew for a fact that my sisters body was the only one there,yet they timed us and gave us ONLY minutes.NO COMPASSION WHAT SO EVER!!!!We as her family hate the fact that we feel we let her down and she deserved so much better but this funeral home and their employees took advantage of our heartbreak and sorrow.We will be informing ANYONE AND EVERYONE HOW WE WERE TREATED

In an annual Fall furnace check-up, a young man from Barker Heating and Air Conditioning "rough-handled" everything that he got his hands onThe end result was, I had to call Stevenson to recheck his work, and the obvious thing that was discovered, was the copper tube to the thermal couple was looseIt was not tightened down with a open-end wrench
If this lack of respect for the customer's property, and the example that he exhibited is customary with the services that they provide, "Then I would not recommend this business to anyone."

I'll start off by saying this funeral home has been used by our family for decades but after using them for my sister,which passed away July2 2015,we will NEVER use them again.My sister passed away suddenly and was such a sweet,loving person and deserved the very best.Unfortunately, she had no burial insurance.Another sister was footing the bill.She dished out over $3000.00 for cremation and was told the very next day that she couldn't be cremated but was told she needed to pay them another$1500.00 and was NEVER explained what the first big amount was for,since it apparently wasn't for cremation.Our family went to view her body and was told there would be no funeral so we had 30 minutes to say our goodbyes.I myself went throughout funeral home before we even got to view the body and I knew for a fact that my sisters body was the only one there,yet they timed us and gave us ONLY 30 minutes.NO COMPASSION WHAT SO EVER!!!!We as her family hate the fact that we feel we let her down and she deserved so much better but this funeral home and their employees took advantage of our heartbreak and sorrow.We will be informing ANYONE AND EVERYONE HOW WE WERE TREATED.
