We hired them for an interstate delivery of a piano. Piano arrived without legs they are missing with no plan for delivery after several weeks.
We contracted this company through sale representative *** We signed a contract for pickup and delivery of a baby grand piano on Jun 11, 2019. The piano was picked up from San Dimas, California, on June 18 and included three items: the piano body, piano legs, and piano bench. Prior to this pick-up, we paid the company a $300 deposit. Once our items were picked up, we paid $800, directly deposited into a business account, in order to authorize the items' departure from California. Two of our three items were delivered to our house in Washington on July 23rd. The movers who arrived at our house did not have adequate supplies to move the piano body up our 3 entry level steps into the main floor of our house. We provided our own piano straps that we happen to own and called our own friend who came over to the house and provided the majority of the lifting power to move the piano into our house using the straps (there were 2 movers, my husband, and our friend- so 4 total men to move the piano in using customer-provided equipment and man-power). After this, we discovered there were no piano legs included with our piano body and piano bench. After many desperate and un-intercepted attempts to contact Constantine, our contact for the dispatch of our delivery, the company itself eventually put us into contact with the guy who picked up our three items down in California and he confirmed that they did, indeed, pack up piano legs, labeled with our last name, intended to ship to Washington. Unable to do anything else and afraid to move the piano back out of the house without proper equipment, we paid the movers $500 cash as instructed by the company and did not sign off on our contract to confirm the delivery, because we could not affirm the the delivery/job had been complete. We have contacted both *** at the Company HQ and Constantine with dispatch many times over the past several weeks regarding the missing piano legs. The only progress that has been made is we discovered the legs were found on a trailer in Kansas and now no one has had success in contacting or locating the driver of this trailer. Thus, since July 23rd we have had a baby grand piano without legs on its side in our living room. We have heard no plan to resolve our issue. We have, in total, provided the company and movers with $***.
