Review: ON 5/19/2015 I PAID A DEPOSIT OF $3000.00 BY CHECK 108 WICH HAS BEEN CASHED BY THE COMPANY BUT I NEVER GOT THE CHAIR LIFT INSTALLED. EVERY TIME I CALLED AND I HAVE CALLED A NUMBER OF TIMES! THE CONTRACTOR [redacted] IT IS ONE EXCUSE AFTER ANOTHER! NOW I WOULD JUST LIKE A FULL REFUND AND BE DONE WITH THAT COMPANY.CALLED THE TOWN THE STAIR-LIFT DOES NOT MEET SPECKS LIMITS SET BY THE TOWN,STAIR-LIFT WAS ONE INCH BIGGER THAN TOWN ALLOWS. SO I JUST WOULD LIKE MY $3000.00 BACK AND BE DONE WITH IT!Desired Settlement: I WANT MY $3000.00 DOLLARS REFUNDED BACK TO ME ASAP AND BE DONE WITH THE COMPANY I DO NOT LIKE DEALING WITH THEM ANY LONGER.

Review: My husband [redacted] suffered and passed away from ALS. While my husband was in early stages of ALS, the [redacted] recommended that we purchase a stair glide so that my husband would be safe on the stairs. They recommended American Mobility Products and their salesman immediately arrived at our house to make the sale. The quoted price was $2,200.00 and we were concerned because of the high cost. However, the salesman assured us that when we did not need the stair glide, they would buy it back verbally for $600. My husband passed on January 6, 2015 and a week after we contacted the salesman to pickup the unit. The salesman stated that they may not want to buy the unit back. Our agreement states that the unit has a buyback guarantee and we contacted the company numerous times and as per April 2, 2015, we have not received an offer.Desired Settlement: At this time, we are not concerned about the $600 buyback. My family and I understand the difficulties and emotional hardship when dealing with an unforgiving disease like ALS. We would like a written apology from this company and this hope experience does not happen to other physically disabled families.
