Jason B and the whole American Home Contractors team has been wonderful to work with. They take the time to answer all your questions. I had a gutter tune up about a year and a half ago and Melvin B really sold me on the company - he went above and beyond. I was very happy with the outcome. So, there was no question when I decided to have my gutters replaced, what company that I would call first! They did a fantastic job. If you want something done right, American Home Contractors is the company to turn to.

Tyler was absolutely fantastic to work with. He really cares about the work his team does and takes personal responsibility to make sure everything is done as agreed. He handled my roof, siding, trim, gutters and front door. I still have people standing in front of my house telling me how great it looks and I couldn’t agree more. Great work and great to work with.

Bret was the serviceman from American Home Contractors that came to my house today on 11 Aug 2020 to do a roof and gutter tune up. Although my home/roof/gutters are only 2 years old, I thought it was time to get things looked at for possible problems that I could head off before they got really bad. Bret thoroughly addressed all my concerns that I had been worrying about for the past several months. He explained the issues in such a way that made sense to me and helped me to understand what was going on, what did/did not need to be done, and then accomplished minor repairs in a very comprehensive manner. He even went the extra mile to help troubleshoot if I had a clog in my underground drain pipe for my gutters. Although maintenance of the underground drain pipes was not part of the gutter tune-up, the simple act of helping me test for free flowing water gave me the info I needed to stop worrying or to take further action (which was not needed). I am eagerly awaiting the final inspection report with pictures, but wholeheartedly expect it will be equally professional and thorough as Bret's visit.

AHC did a "roof tune-up" and we were very pleased with the whole process. We knew we lost a shingle during a storm but the tech found a few small items and took care of them as part of the tune-up. No attempt to upsell to a roof replacement or other big-ticket item. Since we never go up there ourselves we appreciated getting photos as part of the report, not just descriptions. Customer service was also great- they responded quickly to our request for an appointment and the tech called to let us know that he was running late.

Paul was on time and very professional. He explained all issues that he saw and took pictures to explain them. Will definitely use him again. Awesome customer skills and was Covid 19 compliant. Job well done. Thanks

From the first phone call to the completion of the roof, American Home Contractors provided an excellent experience! Tyler provided a comprehensive and well priced proposal. My rental property was vacant and I was on vacation and AHC replaced the roof and all sheathing and when I returned to inspect it was if they were never there other then seeing the new roof, Highly recommend!

For the last 3 years, my gutter showed signs of rain leaking through gaps behind gutter and seems to get clogged easily. I found American Home Contractors Virginia AD in the Clippers Magazine and called them up for a tune up service to find out the situations. The technician Austin B. showed up before the appointment time and did a wonderful service and even caught up a clogged area that other gutter technicians never found it before. I was so impressed and willing to contract them for the gutter replacement project. Within a few days, the project coordinator Jason B. called and provided me with a detailed quotes with specifications and options for my final consideration. It was so detailed and cover all aspects I need to know and understand, I have no problem to make up my decision on the same day. After that, Jason came over to my house to demonstrate the color selections of gutter and explained the system I chose. Two days later, my new gutter system was fully installed to my satisfaction. Jason even showed up to make sure it was done right. A project was well performed by this company, the American Home Contractors Virginia. I highly recommend them.

Tyler worked diligently to provide a highly competitive bid for our congregation. He treated us with respect and kindness throughout the process from first bid to completed project. COVID-19 impacted our fundraising, and American Home Contractors was patient and understanding in the resulting delay. Once our funding was in order, they scheduled the job quickly, and we now have a beautiful new roof on the church building and the accompanying parsonage. I had a great experience with American Home Contractors. I had some damaged shingles from a recent wind storm and had my roof inspected. There wasn't enough damage for the insurance to kick in, so I called AHC and had them come out to replace the missing shingles.
Melvin was the roofer who came out and his service was fantastic. He replaced the shingles. Tightened down all the loose ones, and even checked the seals around the gutters and other fixtures. The best part is, he took pictures of his work and emailed them to us, so now we have proof that the work was done.
I am a new homeowner in northern VA, and I will contact AHC first for any future roofing needs. Good job!

I am a fan of American Home Contractors (AHC)! We have investment homes in Northern VA and AHC have serviced a few over the last few years. All the technicians were very nice and professional. They did what needs to be done, advised us on the condition of the roof, gutter, sidings and did not “push” additional sales pitch. My latest experience with AHC was just yesterday, 6/16/2020 and Brett Jenkins was my technician. We recently bought another home and wanted AHC to look at the roof for peace of mind. Brett called in advance to inform us of the arrival time and was there early, waiting for us. He gave us an honest review, answered our questions and even help cleaned the leaves in the rear gutter. We are impressed with his knowledge and his honesty. We will definitely ask for him for any future appointment! In fact, he is coming to look at the sidings of our Arlington home later this week. American Home Contractors far exceeded my expectations from the beginning of the process. I first found out about them through Home advisor. I submitted an inquiry on a full roof replacement and shutters due to water damage from the roof. Within a few hours of submitting an inquiry, Tyler reached out via phone and followed up with an email to set up a contactless site survey. During this pandemic, I was skeptical and hesitant to have anyone come to my home for estimates, but these guys have it figured out already. Tyler came by and assessed the current damage, compiled a VERY detailed presentation with their scope of work and different tiered options for different shingles and doing it all contactless. After he compiled all the information, we had a ZOOM meeting to go over the quote and his finding with pictures of the damage that I had and his recommendations moving forward to repair the roof. I had reached out to at least 5 different companies for quotes, but Tyler and American Home stood out to me from the beginning because of the time and effort they put into the document they prepared. This was an overwhelming project not knowing anything about shingles, but Tyler took the time to explain EVERYTHING in detail and dummied it down for me to even understand, which I appreciate.
I highly recommend them and have already referred Tyler and American Home to my neighbor who needs a new roof as well.

American Home Contractors serviced my roof on 5/20/20. Howard my technician was courteous and professional. He was informative and recommended that I consider getting an annual plan which will save me money...I use them every year for gutter cleaning and roof tune ups. They are very good.

I am very pleased with the service I received from American Home Contractors. Specifically, Technician Dennis C. is the “bees knees” from a technical and professional standpoint. Dennis took the time to explain to me every part of his inspection and roof tuneup. His ability to diagnose problem areas and areas that are operating effectively was impressive. He is an honest broker and I felt like I could trust his opinions and judgement. I feel like a received a tremendous value with today’s service. Keep it up!
