My husband and I originally had a dentist at the Mountain Grove location and had our teeth cleaned once there. It took us months to even get an appointment. Not long after the first visit, we were contacted and told that they no longer took our insurance and sent us to Dr. ***, which is further out from the original location. That was alright with us, because we were still trying to get a dentist that we liked as much as the one we had before, but he had moved.
We have gone to Dr. *** several time and really had no problems. They would get us in at the same time and we would have our cleanings and off we would go. But this month we had a 6 month cleaning and we are always on time and they could only take one of us and the other had to wait for an hour and half to just get a cleaning. I just cancelled it and rescheduled. My husband needed a referral to have some oral surgery and he got the information to the other dentist and waited several weeks for an appointment and when he was ready for the appointment, he thought. But he was never given the correct documentation to take to the oral surgery dentist. We received a call from the Oral Surgery office a couple of days before the appointment and was told they didn't have the information they needed. My husband contacted Dr. ***office to get the information faxed to the *** on Tazewell Pike. The paper work was never faxed, or either the Surgery office said they never received it and so they would not take our appointment with out it and now I have to find another Dentist and start all over again. We never received a follow up to make sure that we had everything we needed, but if I have an appointment, they constantly send me texted messages to make sure I don't forget my appointment. I believe the office personnel is really responsible for this and when they only have one hygenist then double book appointments is unacceptable to me. My time is just as important as theirs and if that is not considered then I have the choice to find a doctor/dentist that respects that.
