duplicated on the back. [redacted] attended a free energy conservation education seminar (intended for all homeowners regardless of age) and without obligation, and requested a free in home evaluation. She informed us of her decision to cancel her order only when she was called to notify her of her delivery date one week later. At this point her products had been already ordered and scheduled to be delivered, as agreed. The 20% late cancellation fee (equal to $549; not $700) is not a penalty but American Energy's compensation for labor, administrative and material costs meant to compensate the company for those losses. However, American Energy rarely collects this compensation unless their are extenuating circumstances. In this case those fees, though reasonable and fairly stated, could be waived.
