The back room of the [redacted] residence has exposed rafters and the underside of the roof decking is seen running perpendicular to the raftersWe had not been in this room and/or made aware of the design prior to the installationThe roof was installed according to code which requires the nails to penetrate the deckingUsing shorter nails would have required a variance on our permit prior to installOnce it was brought to our attention (post installation) we deducted $1,off of their final bill to help with touch up, which they acceptedOn 5/4/the [redacted] notified their Field Supervisor of a concern regarding the shingles not laying down correctlyWe immediately sent a Service Tech to inspect the roof and take photosWe then notified the shingle manufacturer of the potential problemAn investigation by the manufacturer was openedWe do not warrant the shingles, only our installationShingles are covered in a warranty between the manufacturer and the homeownerWe bought the shingles at full retail price from the same distributor we have used for hundreds of other projectsWe are doing everything we can to help facilitate the investigationUltimately the timing is between Tamko and the [redacted] On 5/31/18, Tamko and our Service Tech will pull two shingles from the [redacted] roof to further investigate On 5/18/we received a call from Ms [redacted] She stated that they obtained a report from another roofing company, which is when we heard of her concerns about the ‘wrong size apron’ and that the ‘flash is not installed correctly’We take any concerns about our roof installations seriously and will investigate these issues furtherIf we find errors in our installation we will rectify themWe have not ignored the [redacted] ’s concerns and will continue to work with all parties until the issues are solved

I am rejecting this response because: the issue with the apron is not a manufacture issue , it is ABC for putting wrong apron size, as for the shingles, I contracted with you and the manufacturer, you should warrant your work and product, and this issue has been going on since the day it was installed, your salesman James [redacted] was notified immediately, and we were told to give it to spring for the heat to possible settle the curling shingles It is you I paid money to not manufacturer So, please work as fast as you can to get this resolved
