Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/10/30) */
We recently replaced gutters at the front of the garage and porch areas because the home owner's trailer backed into the garage and caused damagedWe also installed a new gutter and spout on the right side of the house
Leaf protection was
also added to the new front gutter as well as an existing front gutter on the second story
The home owner reports water leaking from the gutter at an inside corner above right column
The gutter is not leakingWater is filling up the gutter and spilling over the top of the gutter due to a low spot in the roof due to no fault of ours
In an attempt to enhance drainage, I recently lowered the gutter at the left side of the garage to no availI called the homeowner on October 23rd, and he reports that water is still spilling over the top of the gutter due to a low spot in the roof
The only solution is to add a down spout to the low part of the roofI suggested they have a drain tile installed to run the water UNDER the sidewalk pavers
I offered to install a new downspout at no charge
The home owner declined my offer
Sincerely,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/11/02) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This information is FALSE! We hired the company to remove a downspout and offer a solution that allowed us to only use ONE downspoutHe had no trouble charging us for 6" gutterThere was only one downspout installed total, and it was on the far left, and it had previously been thereThere was no damage to the existing gutterAnd the scratch on the gutter that was there in no way impacted our decision to upgrade to larger gutterWe wanted to remove the downspout in the front of our house, That was the main reason we hired himAfter I filed this complaint he called to ask us how much water was still in our gutterNothing elseHow about come fix your poor work? We did have another company out to look at itWe were told it can be fixed, but it will take time by Midwest gutterSo evidently there is no money in it for Midwest gutter at this pointThey do not stand behind their work, or measure for slope on a installed gutterAnd as far as a low spot in the roof line, it didn't seem to be a problem you cared about when you previously installed gutters, or when we had you out to quote the existing guttersI would think this is a important thing for you to check, if you are not no one should ever consider using you for guttersAnd so you know, it is leaking, daily and nonstop because there is standing water in itThere is no spill over
Please make sure to keep recommending others check the Revdex.com, that way they can read our full complaint
