They are the best We have had several dogs and cats that they have treated and we were very pleased with their services We have had to put down several pets and *** was very compassionate and understanding of our feelingsWe also board our dogs at American Animal Hospital when we go on vacations, we wouldn't take our pets anywhere else They are great, and the staff are so friendly and fun to meet
Our dog is very old and American Animal has been super with her! Very caring even though she can be difficult sometimes. They don't push unnecessary tests. They try and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. We also use the grooming and boarding services and have had very positive results.
Great care for many years! I feel like my cat is in good hands!
American Animal Hospital has caring staff that not only treated our pets with incredible care, they also were supportive, patient and clearly explained next steps.
The team at American Animal Hospital is very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. They really do treat their pets like their own! I always have a great experience when I go to the clinic. I also take advantage of their house calls services for my cats who are scared to go to the vet. I'd highly recommend this clinic.
The staff is genuinely caring and compassionate with all my pets. Highly recommended!
I have been coming to American Animal Hospital and [redacted] for more than 30 years. I have always received top-notch service and care for my dogs. The staff is friendly and highly professional. I will always remember their kindness when I had to have two of my longtime pals put to sleep.
The staff at American Animal Hospital truly do treat your pets as if they were their own. The team will always go above and beyond to work with your busy schedule to get an appointment for your pet!
My cat normally goes to another vet but it was suggested to me since she gets very stressed and uncontrollable that I try an in house visit. I emailed the American Animal Hospital to find out the processes as well as explain in detail my cat's stress levels. I also explained in detail that the other vet had 2 technicians with her and could not hold her down to examine her. I detailed the symptoms for them and told them from other pet owners opinions that it was a urinary tract infection and antibiotics may be needed. The vet and technician that came out were very nice but unprepared. They did not bring any sedatives or cat handling equipment. An plastic choker rope was used to try to subdue my cat. After a short period of time, they stopped and stated they could not examine her. At that point the vet discussed that my cat could potentially have an infection and described a bunch of possible issues. He then told me I would have to drive out to Neenah to get the prescription of antibiotics. I asked why they didn't have any antibiotics with them and was told they didn't bring any.
After getting to the American Animal Hospital, I was very upset letting the entire experience stew during my drive there. I spoke to the receptionist about getting my prescription and that I wished to speak to a manager/owner. When the owner came out he had an excuse for every complaint I had and interrupted me when I was explaining why I was upset. When told his staff members were unprepared, he said sedatives are not given to animals they cannot examine. What is the point of having them then? He went on to say my cat most likely did not have an infection when the other vet said she most likely did. When I told him I did not feel I owe them anything, he told me he payed people to go to my house, how is that fair? I told him how is it fair that I had to be inconvenienced by driving to them when an in house visit was supposed to be about convenience. After a short arguement, he said I wouldn't have to pay, but took my cat's prescription out of my hands and said then you don't get to purchase this for your cat. I grabbed onto the box that I had driven all the way to Neenah to get and said if I cannot pay for this prescription and my cat dies because of their lack of compassion I would be suing him. I was then allowed to purchase the prescription. Of the $31 and some change I owed for the prescription, I offered them $40 to cover the gas money it took to get them to my house.
I would NEVER suggest anyone bring their animal to this establishment. They don't care about animals, they only care about money.
