Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: American Airlines did not address my concern or complaint in any manner whatsoever They denied I even had a complaint That said, I don't think American Airlines will ever agree to do anything for me on this matter As such, I have notified American of my intention to consciously not use their services again in the future and move my personal and business travel to one of their competitors.Ultimately, American's ability to force anti-consumer rules onto its customers is a fundamental problem with the monopolistic problems of air travel in the United States and I welcome the Democrats adding an anti-monopoly agenda to their political platform My hope is that, whatever is crafted by the Democratic party, significantly hobbles American's ability to continue hurting customers Regards, [redacted]

Complaint [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I understand that there are options regarding flex tickets and cancellation insurance available to a traveller prior to purchase, however, it seems that 100% of the costs and risks are borne by the traveller without any understanding or flexibility from American AirlinesI feel the response from AA is boiler plate and insufficient given the nature of my compliant.Cancellation was attempted less than hrs after initial booking (there should be a hr cooling off period) for a valid health concernFurthermore, AA call centre did not fully explain the limitations of the credit when advising us Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This complaint is in regard to July issue I'm not sure about which was mentioned in this report.The refund for the tickets did not come to me My issue is the costs incurred because of AA failed to meet their end of the commitment It's not only the fact that my vacation was ruined all because of AA failed to honor their end of this business transaction but the excuse provided was obsurd Instead Of Trying To Get Us On Another/alternate/ later Flight Which Was Requested But We We're Advised There Weren't Any Until THE Following Week, Meanwhile I Went Several Days WithOut Clothes Or Hygiene Items, Prescriptions EtcBecause Our Luggage Was Flown To the vacation destination on one of the flights AA claims did not exist I Had TO Pay For An Overpriced Taxi WhicH IVE Not been reimbursed for nor was I reimbursed for having to replace clothing unmentionables and hygiene items so no this definitely is not a solution for this issue Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This was not a weather related incidentBoth connecting flights were missed because of faulty equipmentThere were weather issues on both days, however, we missed our connections due to a nonworking commode, in one flight, and a piece falling off a plane on another flightWe missed our initial connection because American Airlines downsized the planeWhen we arrived at our gate we were told there were no seats available, for us, on the aircraftOur luggage made it back to Milwaukee hours before our flight arrived so how could this have been weather related if our bags made the original flight? I include specifics in my original letter, which I attached to my last responsePlease refer to this letter if you have questions Regards, [redacted]
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There was no resolution to this matter. American Airlines refuses to refund to the financial, physical, and emotional loss due to their gross negligence on the airline,... the airline's pilot, airlines employee's staffing the airport, and the airline's mechanical repair team. That plane should have never been allowed to taxi out to the runway, leave us stranded with no air or proper ventilation, refuse to allow us off the plane when we arrived back at the gate and there was no storm at all before the flight took off, and after the flight went back to the gate. There is no logical explanation for refusing to give me my luggage, which my seizure and other medication was in because the luggage because it was supposed to be a rather short flight. I suffered a seizure, a panic attack in a corner of the airport laying on the floor like a homeless person, and was unable to move to get help. I was denied food for over 14 hours, which my body desperately has to have due to diabetes. There is no logical explanation for the American airline baggage claim supervisor to come out and attack us by cursing and telling us to get away, that he did not give a damn about the luggage he had better things to do like go home to his family!No this issue has not been resolved and I will continue till I do receive one Regards, [redacted] ***

Business is trying to force a resolution that did not existed just to close the complaint. Our complaint is still valid... until a formal written response meeting our desired resolution is met, which is full refund of our expenses, as detailed in the beginning. Regards, [redacted]
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I NEVER received a response from American AirlinesThere were multiple problems costing us over a thousand dollars due to their negligenceI was told management would contact me and that NEVER happenedThese giant companies can say and do whatever they please and leave their PAYING CUSTOMERS literally out in the cold! They physically removed us from the airport out into -degree weather while they put our bags on an airplane that was NEVER our destination and left us without proper clothing, toiletries, and necessities for hours Regards, [redacted] ***
