In response to the complaint #***, Transwest spoke on the phone with *** *** ***, through out the process for repairs *** *** was notified originally that Transwest Body shop was scheduled to weeks out before repairs could be started. Transwest
records indicate the unit in question shows the date of loss was 4/5/We received the unit sometime after. We submitted the estimate to Insurance on 4/12/for repairsInsurance came and inspected unit and sent us a revised estimate on 4/28/2017. We spoke to *** ***s and was given approval for an tear down on 5/4/After tear down we notified insurance for additional need and received a supplement estimate on 6/7/Additional parts had to be ordered and unit was to have full frame replacedAdditional parts needed for unit arrived 6/20/2017. Repairs had been in progress first Week of August*** ***s had stopped in the last week of August for a visual inspect of unit at that time unit was being reassembled and party was notified that unit would go for an alignment and to reset codes at our *** dealer shipUnit was having mechanical issues and had to be towed to *** and was notified by shop of electrical components issues needing addressedSubmitted cost to insurance for issues and had them give a quote for cost of repairs neededSubmitted to insurance and was waiting approval when *** ***s had contacted us and said they need unit backExplained to them the insurance process we have to go through to get issues approved by the insurance to continue with repairsAt that time *** ***s was firm on unit to move forward and we advised *** to get parts in and proceed with repairsAt this point asked that they reach out to insurance and help speed process for additional and got a response from themAs for unit to be done we had told *** ***s the *** dealership said soonest is Sept due to parts arrival and shop scheduleAdditionally throughout this process our shop has been under going necessary expansion in our shop to allow for more access and speedy turn around times Transwest Body Shop apologizes for the extended time for the repairs and has relayed the urgency of the client to *** dealership to get unit done as soon as possibleAs well, I personally apologize for any inconvenience to the customer
