Amber's service is "TRASH"
Have had Amber's Disposal for a couple of years. Over the past month they've started missing pick ups or don't show up until the evening. Have called several times about the issues and they either blam it on a "new driver" or say they'll pick it up on the next scheduled pick up date (even though I pay for two pickups a week). Going to cut my loses and look for a company that is more responsible and responsive.

Poor Customer Service
We've had Amber's Disposal about 3 months. When we purchased our home we missed the discount paper work to receive Evergreen Trash Services at a discount. As I had already signed up for Amber's, I contacted them to see if they could match the discount. Apparently, I first spoke with Chris, and she asked me what the paperwork said. I had to call her back after pulling the letter from my files. Upon calling back, Nancy answered the phone, and I told her why I was called, and she said I hadn't spoke to her, I must has spoken to Chris. I guess she thought she put me on hold. She proceeds to tell Chris that I'm calling regarding the Evergreen offer. Nancy proceeds to tell Chris, F* her, let her go, let her go, she's only been with us a month. I didn't know her name at first. So when she comes back to the phone, I asked her name, she said Nancy, I proceeded to tell her that I'd heard every word she said, and repeated her words back to her. She said she was sorry. I told her that she was very unprofessional, and I didn't appreciate it. I told her whether I could hear her or not, she was unprofessional and I wanted to speak with a manager. She explained that the manager was on extended leave and that I could leave her a message and she gave me an email address. Of course, I won't be doing that as if "Brenda McAlwee" the manager is out, I wonder who's monitoring emails. I then spoke with Chris about the Evergreen offer who proceeded to tell me they couldn't honor the offer. I will continue to try and reach Brenda or Frank McAlwee, but from the reviews I've read, she may not be a nice person either. We'll see.

The owner is the worst. I called because my trash has not been picked up 3 Tuesday’s in a row. She told me I was lying because her driver said the trash was not out by 11 am on Tuesday, I explained that I put my trash out on Monday evenings. I explained that I am not taking time away from my job to call and lie on a driver, her response was she didn’t have bad drivers only lying customers. I asked for a credit for non-pick up and she said she would cancel my account and hung up the phone. The lady has no respect for her customers.

I've had Amber's Disposal trash service for over three years now when I decided to change trash companies because of a better offer from another comparable trash serviceTrash service was terminated days early and the trashcan was picked up (without my knowledge) I called the lady who answers the phone calls at Ambers who is only person who answers phone calls there and she told me that because there was a balance of $(which I had already known that there was) that they were going to be picking up my trashcan and not finishing my serviceI told her I would pay the $now so they can finish my service (until the end of the month)She said no that's ok have a nice day and hung up the phone

I opened an account with Ambers Disposal last yearAll was great the service was good no complaintsWhenever a payment was due thr company made an effort to contact us and we made the paymentI was called by "the owner" regarding my July payment which I forgot to pay paymeny in my year that I didnt pay I agreed to pay the late charges snd everything when and request the payment be taken out in my following pay dateThe person I spoke to processed the payment on the wrong date and the payment declinedBecause odnpayment declining they removed my trash cans and told me she would not reopen my accountI informed her that I had jo problem paying her on friday which was days away but she was rude and belligerentI never had an issue with this company before however at this point their customer service was horrible

Actually no star is better...the absolute worst customer service ever. I've been a customer for nearly two years and rather than contact a valued customer to say they couldn't run the card on file (simply due to an expiration date-new debit card)...the lady with the raspy voice and condescending tone just cuts your service without notice.) I'm the second customer on my street that has cut their service. So moving on without the headache. In this day and time, customer service is paramount and if they are too lazy to send a quick email, quick text or quick phone call to make the customer aware of a very slight issue...I have absolutely no time to deal with the stress of trash being left on the street while I'm on business in another state.

Review: Horrible customer service...horrible service period.Because I called with questions (had trouble understanding their special way of doing holidays) and a few complaints, Amber's Disposal decided to take my trash bin without talking with me and cut my service. The last complaint I called in was when I went to pull my trash in and found trash still at the bottom of my bin. When I called, [redacted] says that their trash people only use a machine to get the trash out, so if it doesn't come out, they leave it...and that's what they did. Unacceptable. If the machine doesn't get it all, they should do it the old-fashioned way and pull it out themselves.If they wanted to discontinue my service, they should have called me and told me...instead they just took the bin and left me a check. Unprofessional. Even more unprofessional, they would not answer my call until I used a neighbors phone with a different number.Desired Settlement: Service cancelled by Ambers and check for a refund left at door.
