My father resided at ***.
He passed away suddenly on Oct , 2019. My sister and I notified Amber Property Management my email of his death. From Oct to Dec 2019 the management property only stated that they need his death certificate to closed his apartment account. I personally took the document to them. In Jan 2020 my sister called about the return of his security deposit. *** of amber management stated that the check was sitting there all this time but yet noone notified us about the security deposit. When we reached out to get the security deposit from them that's when all the games started. We spoke with ***s and then they both stated that they need a beneficiary from the court to release the check. I then sent that email with that document. The both of them then called us and stated that the landlord stated that he will not release his security deposit because he's still responsible for his rent even after his death.
