Review: Date: 11/28/144:15pmI called 411 and was referred to Amazon Lock and Key, one of the service providers there. I was told that someone would be on their way in 15-30 minutes. 4:21pmI received a call from [redacted]. [redacted] asked to verify my address. I repeated the correct address to which he responded, "Yes, yes, yes." He said it would be about 15 minutes. I gave him 40 minutes. I called again at 5:01pm. He said, "Yes, yes, yes. Almost there."5:19pmI called 411 for the office of Amazon Lock and Key. I spoke with a lady. She said, "I'm sorry, he should have been there by now. Let me put you on hold and check." While I was on hold, [redacted] called. She hung up on me. 5:22pmI called [redacted] back and told him, "You have kept me waiting for over an hour. I am willing to pay $30. If that's not enough, don't come. I could have called another locksmith out." To which he replied, "Yes, yes, yes. I will be there. I will be there in 15 minutes. $29 is okay. I'll be there in 5 mins." 5:35pm[redacted] called and said he's sorry he's late again. He would be here in 2-3 mins.5:54pmHe called to apologize and said he's outside. He came out of the car. Took my name, license, and said $29. I gave him the money then he walked away. I stopped him and asked about my locked front door. He replied that he thought I was only cancelling the job and paying the service fee. He mentioned that his English is not good and there's nothing we can do about what happened.5:59pmI called [redacted]'s office. His office said, "We can't do anything. You called us, so we're keeping the service charge." I told the office that I wanted my refund because they wrote down the wrong address, lied to me about arriving in 15-30 minutes, made me wait in the cold for almost 2 hours, showed up, took my money, and delivered no service! They did not do anything! His office said no. When I called back, they refused to listen and hung up on me. It makes no sense to charge me $29 for a service that was not delivered. This is not right.Desired Settlement: $29 that I paid for no services rendered. Within the 2 hours I waited, I could have called a better locksmith that would have arrived and finished the job.
