The job I did for
*** *** was to install a patio door on July 1, 2013. She asked if I could touch up some fading or
peeling paint on her condo while I was there doing the patio door install. I told her I really didn’t do exterior
painting
work. She said she had some
paint left over and she usually just bushed it on the fading areas, but didn’t
have a ladder to reach the higher areas.
I reluctantly agreed to do the painting but agreed to brush over and
touch up fading areas, I did not paint her whole exterior. She contacted me on September 9, and
said some of the paint was peeling. I
told her I could not do anything until next spring 2014.
I finally gave her
a start date of May 27th. She
contacted me at am that morning and said to put it off because of rain. I gave her my next available date the week of
June 16th. I contacted ***
on the June 15th and told her I would be there on Tuesday the 17th
at am. *** said it was supposed to
rain all week and to plan for the following week. The following week was my dad’s funeral
6/23/and I rescheduled with *** for Monday the 30th. On Saturday the 28th I contacted
*** and said that I needed a few days to finish a job I had not completed
because of the disruptions over the last week (funeral). At that point things went sour because she said
I was not keeping my word. She sent me
several text messages that were somewhat attacking me (still have them). At this point I do not plan on going backI
made a good effort to work things out, she doesn’t see it that way
