Review: Altus Global Trade Solutions and an alleged client is seeking to 'collect' a fictitious debt - a debt that has been arbitrarily invented to accomplish a fraud, from my company. In the course of their attempts, they have called at work and spoken to employees and they continue to e-mail their threats to one of my employees - not even me directly. The e-mails are threatening and intimidating. They claim to have 'legal status' for taking the assets of a company. Of course they don't, as there is nothing legal about the debt or how they conduct business. This is harassment.They don't even have a website - and if you try to reply to one of their e-mails, you'll get a delivery error message; they've succeeded in hiding who they are and where they are quite successfully. I believe they fish for their alleged clients on Linked-In. Desired Settlement: I would like them to quit contacting me and ultimately be put out of business - at the very least I would like to alert other small companies about this scam.

I received a phone call from this company claiming to be collecting for a vendor. When I said I would call the vendor to ask about the outstanding invoice they assured me I would be directed back to them. I called the ACTUAL vendor and was told there was no invoice for the amount Altus was claiming was outstanding and they did not place anything into collections for my company.
