Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
I think Abel Roofing is mixing two separate events in this response.1. I do not a**ept their answer on they had repaired the roof leak in 2015 because I had to hire another contractor to finish the job after I contacted them and they refused to come back to fix the recurring leak under the work warranty. Therefore, I "DEMAND" to get refund of $225 for the poor job done.2. Mr. Abel claimed we did not pay him for the 2013 roof repair job on the same house by presenting an invoice. What he did not say was he never completed the work (not painting the ceiling) and we ended up paying another contractor to finish the paint job. Because he asked for cash payment for a discount, we did agree to settle by cash and now I am not sure whether we paid him or not. However, I did tell him last year if he can produce the invoice, I will consider to pay him at least the completed part of the job. However, he never did that and today is the first time I saw the invoice.CONSIDERING MR. ABEL DID PRODUCE THE INVOICE FOR 2013 JOB AND THERE IS A POSSIBILITY WE DID NOT PAY HIM AS HE SAID, WE WILL AGREE TO THE SETTLEMENT THAT THE REFUND FROM MR. ABEL'S 2015 JOB IS USED TO PAY HIM FOR THE 2013 JOB.
