Al's Plumbing

He was only at my hous for 1/2 hour just to replace a hot water ball valve and charged me 250 dollars. Didn't even soter it. Callled my brother in [redacted] and showed him a pic of what this guy did and he said it should have been just 150 dollars. My brother has been a plumber since high school [redacted] and has his own business in [redacted]. we asked this guy from Al's why so much and he said that's what he gets for an emergency call but didn't show up for and hour after call. He over charged me. I have a picture to show what he did.

If using Al's, expect to pay more than quoted. I did not request emergency service but was agreeable to the 'hourly rate' since they could arrive in two hours. (my alternate was going to come the next day). Unfortunately, that's not the rate I was charged and Luther's explanation was "well I'm good,", "I don't charge an hourly rate, I'm charging you for labor" and "YOU called ME". (NOT the reason I was looking for about the price difference.) I called Emily back and she said that's what she thought they would charge. So... originally I didn't think one negative (Revdex.com) review was enough Not to call a local tech, but lesson learned. Nonetheless, they arrived promptly and did the job (a bit rude to his helper!)
