GreetingsDue to a medical situation with my significant other who has Stage IV Melanoma with metastasis to the brain, I was force to cancel and reschedule several appointmentsOne of which was rescheduled was with KathyYesterday was the supposed to be her maappointment and I once
again had to cancel the appointment several hours before the scheduled start timeWhile I tried to contact the client via phone from my personal cell, I reached voicemail that cut offInstead I sent both e-mail and text message to explainHer concern in reply text was that her Groupon would not be honored, and I responded to her concern that her Groupon would be honored because she had already initially scheduled an appointment with me prior to the promotional expiration.In concern to me getting paid regardless, her Groupon voucher has not been redeemed on my endI am not sure of the entire specifics, but she may still be able to get a refund via Groupon if she so choosesIf not, I am still fully willing to work with Kathy and honor the full promotional value as explained in my last text.I operate independently, meaning over 90% of my calls will go to voicemail instead of being answered liveThis is why online scheduling was implemented, so clients don't have to await my replyAs of yet, I have not received any voice messages from Kathy. I respond to all voice messages left at my business line (779) 208-during business hours of Monday-Thursday from 9:30am until 7:30pm and Friday-Saturday from 9:30-4:pmI deeply regret that I had to cancel several appointments for both Kathy and several clients (some such as Kathy on multiple occasions)However, I cannot an will not guarantee that it won't happen again in the near futureWhat I can guarantee is that the money paid for the promotional voucher will not go to waste as is Kathy's concern.
