I don’t even know where to start on this review. Using this company has been the worst experience of my life!! My family and I were so excited to get remodeling done in the beginning and spent our whole life savings on this project. It turned out to be a nightmare with this company. Jonathan the OWNER is completely unprofessional and has attitude when handling your questions, concerns, and frustrations. When we expressed we didn’t like the frame he put around the hallway for the shiplap wall, he then went on to yell and get in a screaming match with his attitude and expressed he wasn’t going to fix it. Anybody know a business owner that treats his customers like that??? I DONT! After exhausting days trying to get him to understand he finally fixed it but was not happy about it. He transformed our whole house into tile which sounds great in theory but only when you have the right contractor!! We have many tiles that are uneven and have “lipage” throughout the house, when we expressed this to Jonathan that we want this fixed, he refused and kept making excuses saying the whole house is “uneven”. This excuse did not sit well with me. Putting your life savings into something and spending that much money with a contractor, you expect perfection at every step!! When we did a little research online and had different contractors come out in the recent days, the uneven lifting up tile is because the thin set was not put down evenly. When we expressed this to Jonathan he kept being lazy and making up the same excuses and UNWILLING to fix the issue! He made several ding marks on the walls inside the house and did not fix them even though he was at fault. In my parents bathroom he created a 3.5 inch grout line against the baseboard because he cut the tile to short therefore tried to fill the space with a ridiculously thick/wide grout line, you ask expert contractors about this and they are in shock on what he did to that area, and again when expressing this to Jonathan, he stated the “house was uneven” and did the best he could. Seems like a reoccurring theme of him when his work is bottom tier quality. When we originally hired him we agreed to have REAL wood shiplap on our wall, the item we were most excited about to get in the house. When he showed up he started to put particle board crap on the wall that’s a puzzle piece of shiplap, when you feel it it’s not real wood,it feels like the cheapest plank you could find in a store regarding shiplap. My family and I were very frustrated about this concept and AGAIN when expressed this to Jonathan he began to make excuses and try to upsell it to make it seem great! He then stated that if we wanted real knot wood for shiplap it would be a lot of money added onto the bill, SOMETHING HE NEVER MENTIONED OR DISCUSSED WHEN WE HIRED HIM THREE WEEKS PRIOR!! He was unwilling to fix or go above and beyond to make us(his customer) happy.When we first hired him he swore up and down it would only take two weeks,to his credit when he first came demo took longer than expected due to the previous floor we had. THE JOB TOOK 2 months to complete!! During that timespan Jonathan would always show up late in the morning, or left early. It was never a consistent schedule to ensure us(his customers) that he is trying his best to get this job done. He would come late in the morning due to going to give a bid to another customer, he would leave mid day to go to another persons house to do their job. And sometimes didn’t even show up on days because he was caught up on another persons job and house, end result HES INCONSISTENT! He bit off more than he could chew and it left a sour taste in our mouths! Outside in the front of the house we have stained concrete on our stucco of our walls, due to Jonathan dumping out thin set and concrete in our rocks and splashes hitting our house. We have sat and scrubbed for an hour and it is permanently stained on our stucco wall, something he could careless about actually fixing.DONT USE THIS COMPANY!! Inconsistency,attitude,unprofessional, and lacks experience!!NEVER AGAIN
