I contracted Alpha Roofing to replace my roof last year on October 31, after the severe hail storm that passed through [redacted] On April 14, the [redacted] notified me that my roof did not meet inspection criteria due to the garage eyebrows needing underlaymentI have since called Alpha Roofing once a week for the last month at which point I am notified that this problem will be resolved within the coresponding week I make the phone callAlpha Roofing has not once called me with at least a follow up explaining the delay and I am under the impression that the only way they will fix the deficencies with my roof is with the Revdex.com serving as a medium

I believe we are on the same pageAs stated, we have no control over when the [redacted] Inspector will be out thereWe have every intention of making the needed repairs once inspection occursTypically when an inspection is completed, they will provide a list of things that need to be repaired in order to pass inspection which we will gladly do immediately Currently, everything is a hypothetical situation because we don't know what parts of the roof will pass and what will need to be fixedAgain, we are willing to do so immediately upon completion of the inspection and agree with the scope of work [redacted] says weeks delay, but ultimately, they are delayed and it is affecting us negatively as wellWe want nothing more than the Inspection to happen so we can close out this project, but as stated, is out of our controlMr [redacted] is not the only customer who's house has been delayed by the [redacted] Regional Building Dept

After nasty hail storms in June 2016, we needed a new roofAn Alpha Roofing representative showed up to talk to us about getting our roof replacedThey explain the ease of the process, what steps would be taken and in what order, and each party's roleWe decided to go with them, which has turned out to be a huge mistake I should've ended it sooner when the financial discussion issues first aroseWe had an initial discussion right at the right start and a second one after the numbers were confirmed by the insurance companyThen we had another when they came to pick up the initial check and the number they initially wanted was different than agreed upon and discussedFollowed by yet another discussion a couple days later when they called to reconfirmed what everything was supposed to beI chalked it up to just having a larger work load than normal Eventually the materials get deliveredWe were told that when they were delivered, we'd be contacted within two days to have

First off, we would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] has faced during their roof replacement. Construction projects rarely go as planned due to multiple factors. His initial assessment is correct in stating that we had a heavier work load than usual. Multiple... times [redacted] was listed in a “State of Emergency” due to the severe hail damage, therefore we had a higher volume of projects than expected which caused some delays, however, ultimately, we were able to deliver on the roof replacement. As a testament to the conditions in [redacted] , Even the [redacted] Regional Building department has listed on their site that there is up to a 12-week delay on getting an inspector out there to inspect the completed projects. Unfortunately, most customers assume that we are the ones delaying the process when it comes to inspections, but ultimately, we have no control over when the city can send over an inspector. Once a project is completed, we request an inspection be done, however the city is unable to commit to a time for inspection, and they pretty much just “show up” whenever they can get to it without any real notice to the customer or the contractor. In a nut shell, we understand that the customer is currently unhappy with their roof, but we are at the mercy of [redacted] Regional Building Dept. as we cannot move forward until they have made their assessment. Once this step is completed, we’ll be able to resume work and make additional repairs based on what they are needing to be fixed. To address some of Mr. [redacted] ’s concerns, they signed the initial contract and then made his initial payment for the amount of $1,616.22 October 07th 2016. According to our contract, we clearly state that we have 90 days to have the initial repair completed (pre-inspection). If Mr. [redacted] had been waiting for 7 months, he must to had signed with a different roofing company. We have the contract and the first check to verify the specified dates. Another concern expressed was a matter of the Drip edge. Drip edge isn’t a code required from [redacted] Building Department and for that reason Mr. [redacted] ’s insurance provider adjuster didn’t want to authorize drip edge installation. As Mr. [redacted] stated, we have been to the property a couple of times to take pictures from the area where the plywood is showing, but his insurance provider is refusing to pay for it at this time. Currently, we have only received $1,616.22 from the $4,588.18 that was agreed between our company and Mr. [redacted] . Our contract is clear that we only will do the work that is on the scope of work provided from the insurance company. We had talked with the insurance adjuster and they already explained it to him. The same adjusters went and inspect the roof and released the payment for it. Once again, our contract is very (excerpt from contract) Scope of Work and Material: The scope of the work and materials identified below are the scope of work recommended by Alpha Roofing, LLC. Contracting is not obligated to perform any part of the scope of work that is not approved by the insurance company unless you authorize and agree to pay for the work out of pocket. The insurance company is responsible for a “like for like” product. Upgrades come from the homeowner out of pocket. 1. The final full payment shall not be delayed while waiting for the city, county or other building inspection department to inspect work. To be clear, have every intention to complete the roof, we are just waiting on a city inspector to come by to tell us what repairs are needed in order to pass inspection.

When I signed with them, they gave me a permit that they useI look up the permit and it is under a different roofing company's name; which is now expired as of Dec 27, In [redacted] , whomever is doing the work, has to have the permit, license AND the inspection under their name; not a different companyNot only that, but their contract is broken; so is all their paperwork and communication [redacted] from Alpha Roofing decided to threaten to put a lien on my home since I wouldn't pay them everything because my roof was not up to code nor did it pass inspectionsWhen I told him of the laws they broke, etc, he told me he wouldn't do the lien; but I should still pay them if the house passes inspectionIt didn't and nor was the inspection done for AlphaThe inspection request was done by a different name/ company, " [redacted] "Since my roof was not done correctly, I would like a full refund of the $I paid to them to do the work CORRECTLY; that the

Alpha Roofing worked well with my insurance company to replace our roof after hail damage They exceeded our expectationsWill use them again!!

I've worked with numerous roofing companies in the Denver metro area and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Interstate In this market, a reliable and trustworthy roofing company is such a valuable resource for any buyer or seller I would highly recommend Alpha to anyone who needs a reliable roofer!

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:First of all, I called him back in after he put on a new roof , on several numbers I had then, and he never returned my calls I did not know about the problem immediately about his workOver the years I have seen spots developing but thought they were from wind and rain eventsAlso, since he put a roof over a roof I thought maybe that could be the problemHowever when my tenant upstairs told me he had problems in the corner of their bedroom from a leak and I have had increased spotting on my drop ceiling on the 1st floor I called another roofer who said the chimney was not done right and all the flashing was left off the whole front of my house by the job Alpha Roofing did previously My neww roofer repaired the problems for $3, Alpha Roofing gives one number on his web site and claims he cannot retrieve numbers from it ,yet it is his main number for businessWhen I called recently I left a message that told him the problems a new roofer found and he never called backI contacted you and filled the complaint with you I was told not to give my name, etcby Revdex.comNext thing I know he is calling me 4/15/at my home and lying about the phone and pretending he did not know how to contact meHe kept me on the phone for 20-minutes with his excuses instead of admitting he had made a mistake until I got mad and hung up on himThe next day he has his sister calling me and I told her to stop calling and that it was harassment on their partI said to tell him if he wants to talk to my new roofer we can arrange a meeting so we can deal with facts , not emotionsHe has not respondedI told you I wanted $in compensation As I said in my complaint I would like financial compensation not excusesAlso, he should not be calling me to my understandingMy new roofer said all companies can make mistakes but obviously, Bob A***, owner of Alpha Roofing, does not want to do the right thing in my case

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:the reason they haven't been given the full amount is because the work has yet to be completedEven our insurance provided told us not to provide the final payment until after the inspection was doneIn addition, project manager *** ** stated that the final payment wouldn't be due until after the inspection was completed and passedAt which point, Alpha Roofing would get a copy of the inspection certificate which would then be passed onto the insurance company and the final payment for the remaining amount would be paidIn terms of the play wood, as I stated before, they directly told me that they would inspect the underneath plywood at the time of the initial repairShould it need to be replaced, they would take pictures and would inform the insurance of company of the added need of repairThen once that was approved, they could continueThis makes sense as now the work done will have to be torn up to replace the boardsThis is not an improvement and as their worker explained, it would not pass inspectionAs to the rain diverter, it is listed as item on the claim totals (*** *** - rain diverter), so I don't know why it wouldn't be doneThey also state that there's a week delay for inspections, yet we've passed the week mark since the initial repair by a month and yet no one has comeThis also doesn't address the lack of communication until this report was filed when we initially were trying to resolve these issuesIt's one thing for projects to not go as planned, that happensHowever, they've not done things that their people stated they wouldThe lack of quality and professionalism has come from Alpha Roofing in not following through with what they've told us, poor record keeping (such as not sending workers out after the material was delivered because of stating we hadn't paid the initial payment, despite having done so and had three conversations about it), and lack of communication for months prior to my filing of the initial Revdex.com complaint

Alpha Roofing did a great job of keeping me in the loop throughout the duration of the project,
handled the insurance claim on my behalf, and helped me understand what to expectThey saved me the time and headache of handling everything myself and did a quality job on the roof

My mother is years old and lives at the address in questionShe hired Alpha Roofing to tear off the old roof and replace damaged plywood, shingles, flashing, two turbines, a screen on one window, the gutters around the house and the garage and the corrugated metal roof over the patio after a major hail storm in JulyThey came in August and tore off the old shingles, replaced four pieces of plywood, and put on new shingles and four turtle vents (we were told to keep it up to code)They did not finish anything else even after contacting the company for the last five weeks, they even stopped returning my callsWe discovered that the plywood around the swamp cooler is not flush with the other plywood but six inches apart with the shingles being the only thing on the roofThe shingles around the swamp cooler is also buckled so when weather moves in it will be leakingThe contract says they will replace the old turbines with new ones but instead they just took the old one with them
