Alpha Elite Roofing and Project Manager, Travis ***, were outstanding. They provided an exceptional level of service, did everything they said they would, and the crew cleaned up to make it look like they were never there. My new roof looks outstanding and the price was in line with the other quotes I received. Alpha Elite Roofing and Travis Jordan are second to none. I highly recommend them for your roofing needs.
Tim
great job, worked with insurance, no complaints I would recommend to anyone.
Andrew and Alpha Elite Roofing far surpassed our expectations! We asked Andrew to evaluate our roof and he and his crew we’re working on it within the week! They completed our roof in a single day. Their crew was very thorough with cleanup. Our roof looks fabulous and we could not be happier with it! Thanks Alpha Elite for your professionalism and dedication to excellence!!
Alpha Elite is a trustworthy Company that did a great job on our home. I had never replaced my roof before, and Chris was very helpful in answering all my questions. He gave us a very fair and honest estimate and was also here to make sure the insurance adjuster did not miss anything critical. When they came to our home to fix the roof, the crew left the house and yard cleaner than it was before they started and were finished in 1 day. Overall, I am absolutely satisfied with their service and would recommend them to everyone!
This company is the best of the best. They are respectful special with elderly customers and do the great job.

We highly recommend this company. The customer engagement was terrific. The work was done in one day as promised,,,start to finish. Very impressive. Supervision was on site during the whole roofing job. The owner was involved ,,, on site. Asked at the end of the job if we were satisfied. There was no question as to which direction our roofing job was going the whole day. We felt good during the entire job. Follow up after the job was on point. Thank you!!
Mr ***,

We received excellent service. I would recommend them to everyone!! They were right there with the insurance inspector making sure he understood why the roof needed to be replaced. The Allstate inspector was very thankful for Andrew’s expertise. We are very thankful!
Thank you for trusting us with your claim and roofing project. We know as a consumer you can choose any of the other professionals like us out there, but we are glad you chose us to work with. You and Mrs. were such a pleasure to work for. Thank you!
Andrew *** is not only a personal friend, but a role model. After serving our country in the *** he came back to Texas and started ***
I had asked him about replacing my roof ever since Hurricane Harvey, and he helped me (I've got zero experience with home insurance claims) every step of the way. He gave insurance his quote Friday and NO LIE he was at my house Tuesday; in fact, I leave for work at about 6 AM, and there was a truck out front delivering shingles. I took off work early to check out the progress and they were cleaning up by 4 PM. It looks great and I full heartedly trust him and his workers to make sure all my roofing concerns were taken care of. He exceeded my expectations! I'm thrilled.
Thank you for allowing us to serve you. We take pride in our work and are happy we were able to deliver.
I love my new roof. It was installed in two days. The installers were skilled and left my property clean and undisturbed. The materials were top quality as promised. I was very impressed and grateful to Albert who worked with my insurance company and never gave up even after a couple of rejections. It made the process much easier for me. I recommend Alpha Elite Roofing without hesitation.
Thank you for your business and trust Mrs.. It was our pleasure to help you solve this matter.
I want to fully endorse Alpha Elite Roofing. From the initial inspection until the roof was completed, it was a thorough, detailed oriented job. Despite going through a very difficult process with our insurance company, Elite Roofing, was supportive and provided excellent service. The personnel are outstanding and professional. The owner, Andrew, was personable and accessible. Answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. The work itself is wonderful. The work was done very neatly, all trash/residue was removed from our premises. The roof looks amazing and we are just so happy with this experience.
Thank you Mrs.. It was our pleasure to serve you.

Andrew is by far the most respectful, honest and precise person I have ever did business with. His workers not only used the best products (I was researching as they roofed) ;) but left everything so clean I didn’t even know anything was done. Wish there where more business owners like Andrew!
I dealt with one of the project managers who helped with my insurance claim from A-Z. I was unaware that I had wind damage and that my insurance would pay until Alpha Elite pm informed me. They did free inspection and they made sure I received the maximum amount for my new roof. They had beautiful colors to choose from and I am over all greatly satisfied with their quality and workmanship.
After new roof was installed,it leaked after 1st rain storm we received. Also interior ceiling was damaged with water leak and still needs to be repaired. The owner of company was contacted multiple times with photos, voicemails, text messages and no response. A down payment was made before work was started and now we have received several invoices for payment in full. But don't feel payment should be made until service is completed.
Mr.,
You're requesting warranty work from my understanding. We would be glad to address and repair the issue however we cannot warranty a roof that has not been paid for. Therefore until your account is up to date, your windstorm certification and warranty are not valid. Please remit payment for the completion of your project and our crew will be there in 48-72 hours to address the leak and any sheetrock stains. Thank you.
During Harvey we received some damage inside our house from our roof leaking/driving rain but not flooding. We filed a complain immediately with our insurance agent. As we had previously been referred over to Alpha Elite for any roof repairs we may need, we contacted Andrew ***, the owner. He eventually referred us to his salesperson/contractor David. David met with the adjuster who walked our home and roof and submitted his review. After receiving the report and funds back from TWIA we provided these to David. Areas of concern were of course our roof, including the main area of intrusion which was above my daughter's bedroom where the roofline meets a wall but had no flashing to prevent water getting inside our house, walls, and ultimately our floors on the first and second level. Additionally there were repairs needed to some of our interior including the carpet in dining room, repair/painting of the walls, and fencing deterioration. David wasn't sure they had someone who could handle our fence, and I informed him I intended to use a separate company for that as our neighbor that we share a fence with already approached us with a contractor and price for the work as he had used him previously on other portions of his home. He did say he believed they could handle the interior portion of our house and would have their interior guy come out soon. We were ok with removing of the carpet but did not want carpet going back in those areas and preferred tile even if it was to be at an additional cost beyond the covered work. Contract with Alpha Elite was eventually signed on 11/3/2017 when they could finally schedule us.
While our scheduled date kept drifting back, we were trying to be understanding as Harvey did create some labor issues around Houston. We were up front from the start that we needed everything done by mid-December as we had family coming in for the holidays and didn't want this to be ongoing then. David agreed it could all be done by then. We finally got our roofing scheduled for 11/17/17 but as that day came David informed it would be pushed back. As the weekend came it needed to be pushed back further. We received a message they would be ready to do the work on Wednesday 11/22/17. I informed David this is now ill-timed as we are leaving town that day and they will require access to our backyard which remains behind a closed gate. He says if we can leave the gate open they will perform all the work without us there. I proceed to change our gate code to a temporary number they can use to open and close in our absence.
Upon leaving for our family on that Wednesday I receive several texts from David including questions regarding areas that need to be fixed. I respond that I cannot confirm all the areas as I am away from home and I had previously supplied the insurance documents to him which called out those areas and he had personally walked them with the adjuster. I did let him know the flashing of the opening on the second story was of critical concern. He asked specifically where it was and we confirmed among several texts that it was the second floor aboding the dining room and bedroom above that, to the rate of the entryway when facing the house from the street. Our pet sitter confirms work was being performed on that Wednesday and Thursday. We returned on Friday. We are informed someone will need to come back on Saturday to finish the work. A man and a lady show up and proceed to go on our roof Saturday and perform what we assumed to be the final roofing fixes, as my wife had spotted open areas that had not been finished.
Prior to the roofing, David had sent over a couple of painters, but not someone who was going to address all our interior concerns as previously mentioned. The painters examine the areas and determine they will only need to Kilz and paint two walls in the dining room, 2 walls in my daughters room directly above that, and the ceiling in an upstairs bedroom. We provide the Sherman *** paint we are using throughout the house and the paint those area the week prior to Thanksgiving. There were still some touch-ups needed from their work in the Dining Room, but my wife completed those and painted the rest of the dining room walls.
After Thanksgiving David says he has a guy ready to go for the interior work on the floors as we had confirmed tiling the area in the dining room where carpet is to be extracted, and in the office/study is our desired path.
Initially was directed by David to go look at tile options at *** in Baybrook. We did so within a couple days (The week after Thanksgiving) and provided the sample and salesperson to David.
David said he had a contractor ready to go for us, Frank. Frank and I coordinated the week of December 4th and he came by and provided detailed take-off information, walked me through everything he had planned to do, which included leveling the floors. He expressed concern that whenever carpet is removed it’s hard to tell if the floors are level from the initial pour or years of use. He addressed our needs and concerns over transition pieces into the hallway and kitchen where there new tile when meet up with our current tile in those spots.
Frank advised us to go look at *** Tile where he has a good relationship, and can get very similar tile that we had previously selected at a better rate to fit our budget, but at the end of the day would purchase whatever material the customer desired.
We went to *** and found a tile that was more budget friendly while providing a comparable look we were trying to achieve on Dec 5. We text the tile information over to Frank who confirmed that was indeed what we wanted. We confirmed back. I informed David of the decision and prepared to go to Austin for work.
David informs me within a day or two that Frank has been pulled onto another job and will not be able to perform the work needed for us. He has another crew lined up that we now need to come to our house and see the area where the work will be performed. While slightly disgruntled that we have to go through the same process with a new crew, we get them over once I returned from work on Dec 8th. They do not introduce themselves to me, and provide very little interaction. There were no official take-offs done, but they ensured David they can get the work done.
David speaks with the crew outside and they inform him they can get started Saturday and will be finished on Sunday 12/10. We are happy to see they can get in quickly and handle the work needed.
On 12/9 the crew shows up slightly after their scheduled time and begin pulling the carpet out. While understandably there will be dust, they made no precautions to put down any paper nor plastic, nor tarps on the areas outside of the work space where they would be walking in and out. Upon pulling all the carpet out and sweeping plenty of dust around, but never once vacuuming it, we receive a call from David that they cannot secure the material today and will not be able to show up until Monday 12/11.
The crew leaves and my wife and I are forced to clean up the mess that was left behind from the carpet removal. Carpet is left on our lawn through the weekend and will not be picked up until Monday sometime. I am not inconvenienced by this timing as I had scheduled my work trip to Dallas around this. I cancel several meetings on Monday to delay my departure to Dallas.
Monday 12/11 the crew shows up, again past their scheduled time. Three guys begin to lay tile down, and no supervisor seems to be around to oversee the work beyond making sure they have the correct layout pattern which my wife confirmed was acceptable. I am trying to get my office work done in my kitchen, along with preparing for an overnight trip to Dallas. Noticeably there seemed to be no effort to ensure the floors were level, as the original contractor Frank had mentioned he would have performed.
Tuesday 12/12 my wife is left to essentially check-in on their work, while managing our two kids and her work. She needs to take my daughter to gym class at 330p, and I have to get in touch with David and find out if they are close to being done. They are not, and I ask him to ensure they then wrap up by 3p so Ashley can get my daughter to her class on time.
I come home that evening to tile mostly set, but not in all areas of both rooms. There is a large amount of work dirt and mess in our entry way from where they again, made no effort to prevent it from being damaged. The bathroom closest to the area where they were is fairly dirty with urine stains on and around the toilet. We have to clean this up as this is a bathroom accessible by us and our small kids.
David informs me that they should be in Wednesday morning to do the grout work and should finish up. I in turn have to reschedule my follow-up doctor’s visit now for the following week. The workers show up late in the morning and begin grout work. They work most of the day and get a good portion grouted along with finishing laying tile in areas that needed. I immediately started having more concerns as no supervisor was present during any of this. The caulking that was performed was beyond unacceptable. There was no consistency, very few areas where there was a clean line much less minimal caulking used as is the case for every other area in our house. There was an extremely visible grout line against the wall of my offie which surpassed 1.5” and had a very unsightly caulk line on it as well.
There is a language barrier and as much as I tried to explain this is not acceptable, and no supervisor around to do quality check nor translate what needs to be done, they have to leave for the day.
Thursday 12/14 I send images of just a few of the major areas of concern to David. I could not capture every single spot as they were too numerous to send. The grout work in both rooms was very sloppy, uneven throughout, and cracking and chipping in some areas. The caulking was by far unacceptable in my office and a good majority of the dining room. It was also clear now that the grout was performed that many of the tiles are very uneven throughout both rooms. Corners and ends are raised/lowered and provides no sense of a consistent laying. There is a fairly large transition gap from the dining room into the entry way, only to be surpassed by the extremely unsightly grout line in my office. The transition are leading into the kitchen was completed using a 2” long and 34” long cut piece of tile, instead of cutting one of the 39” tiles down to 36” to give a clean more natural looking transition. There is grout dried on top of many tiles, on our baseboards and as well as our walls and my office cabinets. Again as with all the days, no efforts were made in the entryway to prevent additional messes being made. We had to clean our front door of the grout and debris that they had created on it.
David informs me the crew is nearby and they will come over to make some fixes. I leave for the day to work and come back early in the afternoon to free up my wife so she can get our daughter to her gym class. 2 of the original 3 guys show up close to 2 or 3p, along with an additional new guy. No supervisor present again. I essentially have to oversee them while performing my actual job and taking care of my 10 month old son. To an extent they did some grouting again in the office and addressed some of the spots in the dining room. The eyesore of the large grout line in my office was not addressed besides trimming a little of the original caulk line away. Between a language barrier and their desire just to be done, they leave around 5:30p.
My wife comes home and is visibly upset and the subpar work that has still been done.
Friday 12/15 I wake up and re-inspect the areas. The grout work performed the previous day is very sloppy, uneven, and again cracking and flaking off. No cleanup had been done by them. And I have to contact David again to get this fixed. David informs me he is in Sugarland and will be leaving that job and getting the guys the right tools to fix the caulking and grouting. Around 2 or 3p, one of the guys shows up again, Mario. Mario has consistently provided extremely low quality work and shows no signs of improvement. He speaks very little english which creates additional issues trying to tell him everything that needs to be done. No supervisor is around and David states that the supervisor is aware of everything. I state that he needs to be present as it seems his job has falling on me and that is unacceptable. Mario hands me painters blue tape and wants me to mark all the areas that need fixing. This feels beyond unprofessional, and not part of my responsibility had their been proper supervision and work performed from the beginning. I admittedly could mark both rooms completely full of blue tape, but reserve that and mark many areas of concern. He tries to grout a lot of the bad areas again, but by 4p, he is ready to go, and the work is not complete. David had stopped by at some point and we walked through areas of concern, which is extensive but mainly stick to the very obvious parts. David tries to present that we can use quarter round or a flashing to cover up the unsightly office grout line and poor caulking. This is unacceptable methods as there is no quarter round or flashing anywhere in my house and that is an obvious attempt to put a bandaid on the problem.
David texts me at 4:30p that ‘Two more trips is what we concluded. One trio to take off caulking and then smooth out grout lines. Let it dry, then next day place thin line of calling on base boards. He is coming Saturday at 10a.’
Saturday 12/16 arrives and Mario shows back up with his supervisor. The super asks me for what all we want done, while not actually inspecting the job work so far. I point out the glaring caulking issues and grouting. The supervisor gives him some tools and what I presume to be very little instruction and then he leaves and sits in his truck and does not enter again for a bit. I text David and ask ‘Is there anyone else coming besides the same guy who has provided fairly low quality work throughout?’
David responds after 30 min ‘Yea he’s our guy and this is his last shot we’re giving him. So he knows he has to get it right today’
I respond ‘That’s fairly disappointing to hear. He has had very little oversight previously and that has no proven successful.’
After having to overlook his work, which was cleaning off the old office caulk to start with. I hear and see scraping for about 45 min and then see Mario coming back in with a caulk gun. I’ve had to personally close my front door twice after he has let it open. It is cold outside and I have pets in my house, so again, things that add up to just not caring. After he enters with the caulk gun, I notice him cut the tip, then set it down in my windowsill and begins to go back to doing a little scraping. From upstairs I notice the caulk is beginning to come out of the gun and is about to get on my window sill. I have to hurry downstairs to inform him of this to prevent it from getting on the sill.
I am still confused as to why he about to caulk when the cleanup hasn’t been finished. Not to mention the grout lines on the edges of the room are very rough now that they are exposed, and this was not part of what David stated would be done today. He begins to put caulk down in a corner of the room and extending onto my office cabinets. I immediately noticed it’s thick and globby, and stop him immediately. I text David ‘I want him out.’
The supervisor then shows up and I begin to explain to him again what is going wrong. He seems to think that simply having him smooth out the now thick caulk line will suffice and can move on. I ask him if he thinks this job is acceptable. He says ‘No, but we will fix it’ I ask ‘How?’ He provides no response to that and just stares back at me. I think as him if he thinks that grout line in my office is good work, to which he replies ‘No.’ At this point I tell him, ‘You know this is very poor work.’ He confirms. I then ask, ‘Why haven’t you been here all week? Why have we had to oversee this crew? You committed to us last week that you would show up last Saturday and be done on Sunday. You pulled my carpet out and made a mess, and did you have the materials ready to get to work on the tile?’ He responds again, ‘No.’ I ask ‘do you think this is fair what you have done to my family? You have made a mess in my house, made no efforts to clean it up, provided little to no oversight to this insufficient work, and the job has now taken 8 days and counting to when you committed to 2.’ He responded with no indication on how they could fix this. That’s when I told them they were done.
I step away for a moment and text David ‘This is not getting any better and the supervisor is providing no answers on how this is going to improve.’ The supervisor then receives a call as he steps out. Mario grabs the remaining tools and gear and they both leave.
No calls are received or communication to us until Tuesday 12/19 when I call David at 4:35p. He states he was ‘thinking about us’. He said the owner, Andrew ***, wanted to come by and see it and was trying to figure out when they could do that and see what needs correcting. He states he knows the caulking and grouting needed some touching up. I responded that the grouting is bad throughout the whole job, the caulking wasn’t cleaned off properly and was applied very poorly and there are uneven tiles throughout the house. Andrew in the back (I’m on speakerphone) says they can pop those out and replace them. I respond that the whole job is bad and very unprofessional. They wanted to know when they can meet. I inform them that my family leaves on the 27th, and David and Andrew agree to meet at 11:30a that day.
On 12/27, no one shows up, nor calls. Ashley notices Andrew is posting on Next Door regarding someone looking for fence work and gate work. She replies ‘ Andrew! The owner of the company that’s left us high and dry for how long now? We missed you at your set apt today at 1130… You were supposed to be at our home to walk the abomination of a job the tile guys you hired did to our home. Also, we still have that hole in our roof that we’ve had repeated no-shows to fix over the past month. Probably not so wise to be on Next-door trying to get more customers when you can’t even take care of the ones you already have’
Upon telling my brother about this, who his wife Karissa had referred us to Alpha Elite as she went to High School with Andrew, she begins texting him. They ask me if I called Andrew. I said no, I was on speaker phone with him and David. They respond he doesn’t remember having set any appointments today. I said that is BS. He stated several things, and they both agreed to come over on 12/27 at 11:30a. He is given my number and calls me while I was driving and then shoots a text ‘Joe it’s Andrew from Alpha Elite, give me a call when you get a chance I was looking to come by tonight. Apparently I missed an appointment so i’d like to solve this issue before it drags on further.’ We inform him we will be home at 6:30p and he confirms.
At 6:30p or so he arrives and sits outside, which he later states he was speaking to David about this. He comes in and begins to inspect the project work which he agrees is very bad all around. He states that he can have the crew come back and tear this up and redo it all. I immediately state I do not want them back in our house. He says if you have someone that can do it, then that’s fine. I ask him how that would work with their company. He replies that he hasn’t paid the crew, and they know until he gets paid they don’t. It wasn’t officially in the contract so he is going to walk away. I ask, what happened to the original guy, he seemed to have his stuff together. I am immediately cut off and he responds that Frank was his call to not do the job. He owes him $500 and we wouldn’t want his work anyways. He doesn’t do straight lines. He then states that the guy that was brought in to do this owes him money because Andrew gave the guy a truck when he needed it, so he is having to work it off. he stated that he doesn’t want this to represent their company and that they are a roofing company. We agree the roofing still needs to be fixed and he promises to come by and do the flashing work over the next couple of days and that David will be in town tomorrow. He offers to have the original tile crew come in and tear out the bad work. I respond again that I do not trust them and want them in our house again.
I receive a text at 10:34p from Andrew ‘I’d appreciate if Ashley removed her heated comment on my next door post about a fence job. Thanks.’
He calls at 8:17a but leaves no message.
We are invoiced at 12:27p for remaining balance of $5,478.
I begin to run the numbers provided by our insurance. The roofing portion is $2909.80
We have paid $1,043 already. I ran the SF that the painters provided. They painted two walls in the Dining room, two walls in Fiona’s room, and the ceiling in the upstairs bedroom. The total from those were 187sf in Fiona’s room, 107SF in dining room, and 169 SF in the bedroom for the ceiling. Using the numbers provided by insurance that would only amount to $242.09. Bringing the total bill of the job to $3151.89 of which $1,043 is already paid. Our balance would be $2,108.89.
I call Andrew and state that I have a couple things to go over regarding our roof being fixed and the invoice and he immediately asks if I got his message about the post. I had him restate the question, and then confirm yes I did see it. He asks if we are going to delete it, I respond she is willing to adjust it when our roof is fixed. But regarding the post it is accurate. He denies it is and states that it’s not because they aren’t an interior company. I responded that first, why are you texting me, your customer, at 10:30p at night. He responds that so he would remember in the morning. I reply that clearly you would remember about it and it is extremely inappropriate to text your customer that late at night. I then state that yes this is your work as you all agreed to. He states that had he seen the post he would have approached us differently last night. He responds that this was David’s call. I respond that he is your employee, and we agreed to do the work with Alpha Elite. He responds that David is not his employee but an independent contractor. I reply that I have a hard time believing you would just let a guy gun-sling deals without your acknowledgment as he is representing your company with your name. I said if that is the case that is a very poorly run business. He laughs in a frustrated manner. (again he had involvement as David got approval from Andrew to do the job, Andrew at some point eliminated Frank from doing the tile work, and then opted to use the guy that owes him money for his truck. Very involved). I state that as far as the invoice, it’s very inaccurate. The roofing portion was (see previous entry for numbers) and he responds that there must be something wrong with his invoicing system and he will have to speak with David about it. I told him I’m willing to pay for the work that has been done on the roof, and the painting, but we expect information on everything that was repaired on the roof, not just a list of materials used. He begins to get quiet. I ask if there is anything else on his end. He says No. I said, okay we look forward to finally getting our roof fixed that dates back to November when the work began and we will gladly pay when that is done and I end the conversation.
We still have not to this date had our roof repair completed, specifically the most critical area we are exposed to rain/moisture entering our home. No one showed up 12/28 or 12/29. We no longer trust Alpha Elite to complete the work and are ready to hire another contractor to fix the main area of concern. We are however still willing to compensate for the work that has been done to the roof and interior painting. Upon acceptance, we will provide a check for $2108.89 and send it certified mail to Alpha Elite’s office
We have at our expense already initiated a contract with a new interior company who as of 12/30 begun removing the bad tile work from the dining room and study. We will begin contacting a new roofing company 1/2/2018 to finish our roofing work.
We can provide documents to support the poor tile job and the coverage provided from ur insurance claim if needed.
Dear customer,
Thank you for the detail. We're sorry about your dissatisfaction. We are a roofing company specializing in roof replacement. The company declined your repair several times and somehow it still ended up on my desk for a repair during a busy season. We do not offer flooring services so we apologize for the salesman for trying to help you get that part of your claim done at an affordable rate. He should have never done so. Also, we did not charge you for any labor or material for that part of the job.
Regards,
Andrew ***

Albert *** helped us out from start to finish! Everything went smoothly and excellent. Alpha Elite Roofing was the third company we received a quote from, and Albert's expertise and positive can do attitude combined with excellent pricing, won us over!
We had significant roof damage from Hurricane Harvey and needed a full roof replacement. The crew completed the job quickly and did an amazing job of cleaning up afterwards. The roof is absolutely beautiful and we are very impressed and satisfied with their work. Albert walked us through everything with the insurance and even came out to inspect when the job was done! He explained everything to us every step of the way, answered all our questions, and was very courteous and professional. We highly recommend Alpha Elite Roofing to all of our friends, family and neighbors! We will definitely stick with them for all of our roofing needs!
