Alma Viva advertised the product as a free trial offer, no instructions arrived with the product. I was charged for both items. They sent me a product I did not order. I returned it to Canada. They credited me $50.00, but won't credit $49.95 plus $10.00 postage until I give them the postal tracking number. The US Postal Service does not give tracking numbers to out of country packages.
I spoke with the Las Vegas, New office numerous times but I don't know the dates.
Date problem occurred: When we received our credit card statement in mid- January. I was charged for:
2/08 Village Cream Skin Care $99.95
2/09 Village Cream Skin Care $ 89.95
These were both free trial samples
They both arrived in plastic sacks with no paper work or instructions.
Alma Viva told me I did not respond, so I was charged. Also, on the statement was /06 Village Cream Eye Serum $89.95. I did not order this. When I called about this they told me I could return it to Canada. I did. They refunded me $50.00 and said they would refund the $49.95 plus $10 postage when I gave them the postal tracking number. There is no postal tracking number for packages going to Canada.
Refund Refund what they owe me.
The week of 11/25/19, I saw an ad on *** offering a trial sample of skin cream for $3.95. I started to enter my information and it said that my credit card could not be processed. I closed out of the application thinking that my credit card was not charged. Several days later, I received a call from someone asking for my credit card information. I told them that I was NO longer interested and DECLINED to give my credit card information. Later, I noticed 3 charges to my credit card account for over $200 -- which I have disputed. *** I have NEVER received any products from this company. I have NO idea how they farmed the credit card information after it said it was NOT processed. AND when someone did call me for my credit card number, I told them that I would NOT provide the credit card number and I was NOT interested in their products. After researching the company on the internet, I found that they list a New York address but operate out of Canada. The charge on my credit card shows "*** Skin Cream" -- not Alma Viva and lists the state of Nevada with a telephone number.
I want a credit of the $203.85 that they charged to my credit card.
On 12/7 I saw an article on *** about *** leaving the Today Show to focus full time on her skin care line (ALMAVIVA) that was "taking off". Article stated for limited time you could get free sample by paying $3.95 for postage & handling. I requested sample and provided credit card info. Next click said: Add your FREE TRIAL bottle of Hydration just paying shipping of $4.95. I have saved links for pages and they do NOT contain additional disclosure information. Product names are ALMAVIVA - Advanced Wrinkle Control ($3.95) and EXTREME HYDRATION ($4.95)
I received both samples on 12/13.
On 12/23 my credit card company declined a charge of $89.95 from *** CC company instructed me to call vendor to obtain info because the link the company provided clearly described a "subscription order".
I called and explained there was no disclosure provided for a subscription order. AlmaViva representative was *** and ***. Said I had 14 days to return the product which I did not do. Now I needed to pay full price of $89.95. I was now responsible for the initial payments and to cover the shipping costs to return any unused portions. To resolve, I intended to return the product and walk away from the situation.
I was sent an email with return instructions but also with an offer that I could keep the items for only $19.95 each ("this will save you from the hassle of shipping it back")

No company name was provided. This company is very vague about their name. Wasn't provided to credit card company either -- just the web address.
Original package and address is Miami FL. But return merchandise is shipping to Toronto, Ontario Canada.
Now that I am being asked to ship to Canada the entire transaction feels like a ***.

My desired resolution is just to make this 'go away'. This is a *** but I don't want them bothering me in the future. I have no intentions of sending their product to Canada. By the way, today is 12/24 and I still haven't opened the bottles they sent.
On 2/4 via e-mail I received a cancellation notification (#63937) from Almaviva informing the subscription status has been cancelled per my request..
