Review: My complaint takes up more than the max characters so I will try to make it brief. I paid for a service to have extensions placed in my hair. What should have taken one visit turned in to a week long nightmare which caused 15-20 hours of my time and almost $1,000.00 in appointments, parking and products. Each time I went in someone messed up my hair. The owner, [redacted], butchered my hair when she cut it while under the influence of pain medication. The application of the extensions caused me to have to come in numerous times due to no fault of my own. The manager, [redacted], said I would be compensated for my time and reimbursed for my service. The owner in a temper tantrum revoked the promise to reimburse me. I have had to threaten small claims court to get a response from them. They stated would reimburse me if I met their conditions which was to return the hair, take down my Yelp review and sign a "contract" stating I would not file a complaint with the Revdex.com or State Board of Barbering and Cosmetics (since they were operating while under the influence). When I refused to take down the Yelp review they stopped contacting me again. All I wanted was my money back and a sincere apology. Now I feel their bad business practice, lack of morals and overall terrible customer service should be known.Desired Settlement: I would like all of my money reimbursed to me including the appointments leading up to the extensions (color was messed up and completely wrong) which is about $300.00, the extensions service of $550.00, parking of $30.00 and my time for a total of $1,000.00.

Response:
[redacted] is a client of an independent contractor [redacted], whom no longer works at my salon as of April 22nd, 2014. [redacted] had been going to [redacted] for a couple of years to have her hair done. [redacted] had a few appointments with [redacted] to color her hair and add extensions. She told [redacted] she only wanted the extensions to achieve longer hair for a family reunion. He suggested clip in extensions as she planned on removing them after the reunion. she declined, and requested them to be installed by [redacted] using a method to secure them to her natural hair. On a day I was not in the salon, the process in which [redacted] proceeded to attempt to color and apply the extensions did not turn out to the expectations of my salon manager, [redacted]. The salon manager spoke to [redacted] about rescheduling to another day with another stylist at no charge. [redacted] agreed to the offer.
