Allterior Home Solutions Reviews (4)

I have hired Chris's business to do multiple jobs at my home over the past five years. I never had any issues with the work he did until I signed a contract with him back in February of this year. I hired him for a 4 day job and to date my job has yet to be completed. By the way, his company has changed names three times in the past year. First it was C.Williams Home Repair, then Allterior Home Solutions and now it is American Restorationz. This should definitely tell you alot about the business they run. Before hiring Chris to do work around your home, I would definitely do the following: 1. Check Revdex.com 2. Check Consumer Affairs 3. Validate licenses 4. Talk to past clients to get feedback 5. Get a clear cut contract which states timeframe, work involved and payment schedule. 6. Mail deposit to the address on the contract. This will ensure that he is providing an accurate address.

Review: My complaint involves the refusal of [redacted] to complete a business contract that we entered into on February 16, 2015. This contract included multiple repairs to my home that included the installation of new carpeting on the first level of my home. Carpeting was originally ordered sometime in February of 2015 (not sure as I was never advised of the true order date) and was received on March 10, 2015. For some reason the carpet did not come in the correct amount. The amount needed was 65 SQ FT while the order only included 56 FT. I was advised that we either had to wait for the carpet to come in or chose something else. I chose to choose a different carpet and was advised that I would be compensated for the issue. It took over another two weeks to find a comparable carpet. I ended up finding this by researching the distributors website. I located two carpets that I would accept and I forwarded to Allterior Home Solutions. From this point forward, I have received little to no response to my requests and questions and have made multiple attempts to get an estimated delivery date along with installation date from them. Finally on April 2, 2015, I was advised that the carpet was delivered. Since then I have been trying to get an installation date from Allterior Home Solutions but have not yet received one.Desired Settlement: With the Breach of Contract by refusal to finish the contracted services, I would like a refund of $2,850.00 the deposit I provided him for the carpet and labor. I am willing to allow him to keep the $500.00 paid after he completed the demolition, ceiling repair and light switch move although since the breach of contract was on his side, he is not entitled to keep any of the funds and is responsible for damages caused by his refusal to complete the job.

Review: Very simply. I contracted with Chris Williams d/b/a Allterior Home Solutions to complete a bathroom remodel on June 14th, 2015. A deposit check in the amount of $2,700 was given on that date and cashed by Williams on June 15th. Contact has been made several times over the past three months with only excuse after excuse. It is now September 18th. I have made demand for my deposit to be returned under "breach of contract" to no avail.Desired Settlement: At this point I would only settle for a full refund of my deposit in the amount of $2,700.
