Allstate Paving

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
In reference to complaint ID [redacted] and response from All State Paving I am writing on behalf of [redacted].  I still believe [redacted] was taken advantage of by this unrequested solicitation. Having recently recovered from a stroke and then suffering the loss of his wife I feel he was in no position to make such a commitment without the benefit of another family member present.  I believe some of the statements made by Rodney Cooper are incorrect and the quality of work on the driveway was very poorly done. I suspect it may not withstand the winter, therefore the offer of a free top coating would not be of help.  I would ask that Mr. Cooper or any representative of the company not approach Mr. [redacted] at any time in the future without a family member present. was signed by both parties at the time, which at that point Mr. [redacted] and All State Paving agreed upon a price which both parties were comfortable with to which at that point All State Paving came to Mr. [redacted]'s and performed all work that himself and my company agreed upon. Upon completion, Mr. [redacted] paid for his job in full satisfaction. One of the men employees then accidentally had taken Mr. [redacted]'s chainsaw which was returned to Mr. [redacted] the following day. At that time Mr. [redacted] seen that there was 3 of our own chainsaws on the tool truck, when he had picked out his. At no point did my representative tell Mr. [redacted] that All State Paving had extra blacktop, or was any work performed on Mr. [redacted]'s property until a price was agreed upon by both parties, and a fully satisfied contract was signed. I fully apologize for any misunderstanding, and to better satisfy Mr. [redacted]. All State Paving would like to offer a one time free seal coating which is good til whenever Mr. [redacted] calls and schedules his appointment. Review: **. [redacted] paved my driveway. He did not tie in to the street like he was suppose to and he left a large low spot in the middle of the driveway. He was contacted and warned to fix the issues. Letter was sent out to his office, they replied with a fax stating they would be back the following fall and fix my issues (warranty). Time came and **. [redacted] set up and appointment twice and never showed upDesired Settlement: I need a refund so I could hire a local contractor to take care of my driveway. When it rains we can't walk to the street because of all the standing water, with snow and freezing its even worst.

Review: Contract called for concrete reconditioning of porch and sidewalk. Cracks that were patched have cracked again. The reconditioning consisted of only painting the sidewalk and porch. The fee for said services was excessive as well.Desired Settlement: If cracks are not refilled and concrete reconditioned more than just by painting the concrete then a refund is desired.

Review: They offered to pave our driveway using asphalt Millings.Telling us it will get hard as a rock from driving on it.It has not!! I also asked MR Cooper could I put a sealer on it later on.He informed me that they are only asphalt Millings..meaning no in my book.About 5 months ago he came to my home while my wife was here and told her he knew we were not satisfied with the job and he would make it right....for an additional $1900...and he would also put a sealer on it!! We were overcharged the first time.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back..or at least half.
