I stopped in for the first time 2 days ago. I wanted to sell my coin collection that I had accumulated over about the last 58 years. I found Michael and Brian to be very friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and objective with respect to grading and pricing, and will use other dealers to resolve questions. Brian went through my coins and explained the grading issues. They are trustworthy. Note: Do NOT expect to SELL your coins for RETAIL price. These folks need to make a profit to survive too. They also provide the service of professionally grading your coins! I noticed the have a good stock of coins and supplies for sale as well. So, I definitely recommend Allouez Rare Coin Gallery for courteous and professional service.

Crook and a cheat submitted a coin for NGC grading with them, owner stated that he would wait until he had five coins to submit to save on shipping (to be split five ways approximately $7.00) contacted him four weeks later to check if they had been submitted and was told that he had submitted them the prior week and that they would be back around the time of the ANA show in early August called the week before show and was told that they were back, picked the coin up in person during the week of the show and was told that I owed $66.00 with 42.00 of it shipping!! waited until owner returned from the show and called him and complained, he lied to my face and stated that we don't do that kind of thing here (I have receipts and proof) but owner stated he would send me a check for the difference to which I have never received so basically he submitted five coins to NGC and I got stuck paying the WHOLE shipping charge and his portion was free also owner was extremely abrasive when called on it

I am a relatively young investor in the precious metals market, and Mike and his staff have always been respectful and courteous to me. They are very helpful when I ask them various questions about changes in the market, and [redacted] will provide a thorough answer about almost any collectible coin you might have. Some take Mike as abrasive in his dealings sometimes, but he's just being brutally honest. You aren't going to get retail value when selling off your metals or coins. This is the best and really only coin gallery and precious metal dealer in the Green Bay Area. I frequent this business almost weekly, if not more, and love the selection of silver bullion and more!
