Subject: ID [redacted]    Aloha, Our customer rented a vehicle from us and used her credit card for the deposit. We ran her card for a $300 authorization hold.  We inform all customers that the avg hold time in 3-5 days. Some banks may take longer.  We have advised her numerous...

times to call her bank and ask what there policy is on authorization are. She insist that we call her bank. I would unfortunately her bank won't talk with us without her consent which she refuses to do.  Authorization are removed by her bank not us or my bank and we have told her this numerous times too.  We have no way of removing authorizations only credit sales which this is not.  Our customer has told us she will not do anything to help resolve theirs matter. Says it's our problem and we need to resolve it.  When she called me I told her if she called her bank and initiated a 3 way call I could get the $300 removed in 30 mins or less she refused to do so.  3 employees have attempted to resolve this matter, but are unable to do the customer not wanting to work with us.   There is not much else we can do unless the customer wants to cooperate in the matter.       We do apologize for this matter and the inconvenience that this has called         Mahalo.     Jay L[redacted]    Paradise car rentals     Honolulu, Hi    (808)946-7777
