Review: I own a lawn service business and accidentally hit the water line at a customers house. I notified the customer and she called all - state services to fix the pipe. They came out an hour later and said the ground needed to dry before they could make the repair. They charges my customer $95 for the service call. They came back 3 hours later and did the repair in 1 1/2 hours. They charges another $495. The total bill for replacing a PVC pipe and 2 valves - They claimed 3 hours of labor at $ 150 per hour and $140 for material. My customer told me they were only there from 2:05-3:30. That's 1 1/2 hours of labor. 2 hours if you include the 10 min. they were there to as the situation. When I called the owner he basically told me to keep my mouth shut and he would do the talking. He wouldn't hear it that his guys fudged the hours. My customer wrote there time down. It was 1 /1/2 hours. She is an elderly lady and got taken advantage of. I wrote her a check in full for the repair.Desired Settlement: Refund of 1 hour of labor at $150.

Review: During a recent gas line replacement 6/13/2013 I paid $6000.00 to replace 80 ft. This company took advantage of me because I had been without gas to cook or have hot water for over a week. There was NO written estimate, they started without my permission, used my yard tools, and stole my broom when they left. Something needs to be done about taking advantages of the elderly. I have tried to call this company several times with no reply. Please help.Desired Settlement: Would like a partial refund of $3,000.00. to be more in line with other professional estimates.

Review: After paying this business 95.00 for a service call to repair two kitchen appliances I have gotten no satisfaction after three weeks of continual calling. My calls have been ignored and I have been lied to about their calling me back. I spent three days waiting for the initial service call because each day I was assured they were coming, The owners son finally showed up and told me it was probably certain parts needed and he would let me know the cost in 2 days. This was2 weeks ago! I have called to inquire about these costs and have been put off time after time. After calling this morning and voicing my dissatisfaction I was hung up on and after trying to call them back the calls went unanswered. I am very unhappy about this treatment and want it addressed.Desired Settlement: The 95.00 I paid them was to apply to any repair of the appliances. Since they are making no effort what so ever to even find out parts cost much less repair the appliances, I feel I should get a refund!

Review: I have asked for home ac service on Monday (June 22nd). Mike [redacted] technician of that company came to my house and told me that the ac compressor is defective and needs replacement. However he has not checked thoroughly the inside AC unit. His diagnosis was totally based on his outside examination/testing. At that moment I thought it's good idea to replace that outside AC compressor (all state services quote was $2850). While I was talking over phone the guy said that he will be back within an hour with the new unit and install it. So he left. After talking to my wife we realized that the quote was too high compared to other competitors. Therefore my wife called their office and cancelled the installation and purchasing the outside AC compressor unit. Meanwhile I discovered that the technician (mike [redacted]) took our AC circuit switch with him and disconnected the unit. When I called their office and mentioned that someone should come to my house and should return the circuit switch and connect the compressor properly so that I can pay their service fee, their administrative manager was so rude and told me that I have to collect that's switch from the guy from somewhere and have to pay the fee immediately. Otherwise they will not return the switch.This is really unethical and unprofessional. As we are out of AC in our house, neither the manager nor Mike [redacted] called us about the solution. We called several times in their office number, the phone either get disconnected or end up in the answering machine.The technician should come to my house to connect the AC compressor (as it was before) and put the ACConnector switch, and provide me the paperwork so that I can pay their $95 service fee.I like your valuable help to address this issue as soon as possible.I also want to inform other customers to beware about this company.Desired Settlement: The company should come to my house to connect the AC compressor and return the switch and provide me the detailed diagnostic report so that I can pay them their service fee.

Review: Needed repair to stove. Paid $300.00 deposit on June 2, 2015 for repair. Told parts would be ordered and could take a couple of days to get them in. My check was cashed on June 4, 2015. Today is June 18th and I am told part is still not in. I told them to cancel the order and refund my money. I asked to speak with the owner but no one has called. I spoke with the company approximately 10 times over the last 14 days and each time I am given a different excuse. Today I was told the part was on back order. I told them to cancel and refund my money. Again I asked for the owner to call me today. No call back.Desired Settlement: Send me a full refund , $300.00, because they haven't repaired my stove.

Review: [redacted] with All State Services changed out a flood light and base for me and replaced it with one with a photocell. It is supposed to go on if dark, and off if light. It comes on at dark, stays on for 22 seconds, goes off again for 25 seconds, on again. A "blinking" flood light is not what I was told I was getting. The receipt shows a 90 day warranty on parts and labor, plus I paid $200 for it. I tried adjusting the beam myself with no luck. I called and left a message for him to call me. They hardly ever answer the phone. I had to call everyday for a week before someone picked up the phone. On a Friday, she said he would be there on Tuesday morning. He never showed up, never called. Called that afternoon, left message, no response. I have called numerous times (I don't have enough space to include all the days), for the last four weeks, keep getting the same responses. I have waited home four times for him to show up, or call, with no response. I finally told the receptionist, (when I was lucky she answered the phone), I wanted the flood light taken down and a refund. Of course, same results. No call, no show. I finally got in touch with her one more time and said I would take the light down and bring it to them for a full refund. She laughed and said, " yeah that's great, you do that. He will be there Tuesday morning, I will call you when he is on the way". It is now Monday of the next week, have not received a call or visit.Desired Settlement: I would like this base and flood light taken down and replaced with a normal flood light and base. I would also like a full refund for the inconvenience, and time wasted waiting for him to show up.

Review: On 7-29-15 I had Allstate Services, LLC install a 3 ton Goodman A/C unit at my home. From day one the air conditioner did not cool the house off comfortably nor did it automatically shut off. The temperature inside my home topped out at 84 degrees and would not get any cooler. I called the company and the owner's wife told me he had eye surgery and would stop by on Monday, August 10th to take a look at it. However on August 10th, no one came or called. The next day, I called twice and finally reached the Owner that evening. He said he'd send someone out the following day to check it out but again no one showed. On August 12th, I called again and finally reached the wife. She said her husband told her he didn't stop by because he thought I went with another company. I informed her that I was still waiting on them since the unit was still under warranty. She then said they'd come out the following day but never did. Because my husband has serious health problems, we couldn't possibly go another day in the heat so I called another company to do the repairs. It turns out the unit needed freon. In other words, the unit was installed with very little, if any freon.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the repairs done by the other company and for my inconvience!!

Called All State to have my A/C serviced. I have two A/C systems and one of the condensers wasn’t working right causing one side of my house to be warmer than the other. The a/c guy checked the coolant level and pressure on my condenser with the issue. He said coolant was low and the pressure was almost double normal pressure. Said it had major problems and couldn’t be fixed. I asked him to re-charge the coolant. He said he couldn’t recharge the coolant because I have the old coolant system. He said I needed a new condenser immediately and it would cost $2800. I have a hard time believing all of the old condensers and air conditioners in the world can’t be fixed because the current A/C systems went to a different coolant. Anyways, I gave them $150 and called someone else. I called a different place and they sent someone out and the guy fixed/recharged/cleaned my condenser for $120. My A/C works great!!! All State you are a rip off.

I have all good things to say about All State Services . After the frustration dealing with other Air conditioning company's All State was wonderful . They fixed the problem with my a c very nice and really reasonable priced. I will use them again

Review: On 8/1/2013 I called All Services to get an estimate for a repair on my washer the lady who answered did not tell me the amount of a service call charge , I had the company come to my home to repair the washer no written estimate was givin to me the tech told me the repair would cost $350.00 !!i felt I needed to comply since I did agree , he then had to buy the part in Slidell while he was gone I found the price of the part $23.00 on Maytag's website the tech and his Father [redacted] arrived at my home I asked the price of the part and he refused to tell me he started yelling and cursing at me when I told him not to go any futher he then refused to leave my home and the verbal assualt continued until I wrote a check for $95.00 ,.......after they left I discoved the took my old parts and damaged my washer.Desired Settlement: I am entitled to the cost of the parts they took from my home and the cost to repair the damage they caused, in the amount of $375.00

Review: [redacted] from All State Services, LLC, came out to do a repair job on my central A/C unit; once he arrived, he determined that my entire compressor needed to be replaced at a cost of $2945.00. When the compressor never worked properly, we called in our home warranty company, and the second contractor that came out said that his work was faulty and we were overcharged for an unrelated problem. A few days later, he sent his son out to fix the work; when he found that another contractor had viewed that [redacted]'s work wasn't done properly, the son left as fast as he could, and now they won't answer any of our phone calls or messages. [redacted] and All State Services publicly advertises himself and his company in the phone book as licensed and insured, but a call to the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors said he was neither licensed, registered, or insured. We had to have another contractor with a much better record (and actually licensed) perform the work at our expense.Desired Settlement: Full refund, replacement, and apology. We request that he change his advertising to reflect that he is NOT licensed or insured in the state of Louisiana, and to either stop doing business, or become properly licensed.
