The custom table we had him put together for us was very unstable and poorly crafted. The table bowed down the middle on the 2nd shelf due to the face that he only had 2 pieces of 2x4's with one screen in the bottom holding the entire table together. Keep in mind this is an 8x5 foot table. His true laziness showed through when he left the home depot price tag on one of the 2x4's (that faced out) and just spray painted over it.
I constructed the item in question with all the same methods that I have used for every piece I makeI have been in business for many years and have had no complaint as to my craftsmanship since.When the customer contacted me to make this table (which was part of a much larger order) Informed her specifically that I will make it with the same methods and techniques as all my other pieces.There were no complaints as to the other four large items I made using the same methods.The customer contacted me and berated me harshly for what she perceived to be poor craftsmanship. As stated I DID leave a sticker on one piece of wood. I make each item by hand and it is possible that a sticker was left on. I was disturbed by her accusations and, though she signed a contract that specifically states that due to the handmade nature of custom rustic woodwork there are no refunds, I offered her half the amount of the table in store credit which she thanked me for, and pleasantly responded by saying that her husband would fix the minor issues.All of this is on record via text messages which I have saved and can provide.Some time later I recieved a nasty text demanding a full refund because her husband had to “take apart the entire table” This should not have been necessary and if they felt it was they could have asked ME to do it so that I would know what was done. At the point of a total disassembly of the table it leaves me with no knowledge as to what was done thereby leaving me no opportunity to check it/ fix it. After several written harsh attacks via text (which I have) she informed me that she would “tell everyone via Facebook” that my business was a bad business. I have a very large presence on any and all social media sites with ample pictures and evidence of my work ….You can see more at www.allstarwoodwerx.com, facebook.com/allstarwoodwerx , Or instagram @allstarwoodwerx There should have been no question as to what I would provide or how I would make it as there are several SEVERAL examples of my work. This customer ALSO came to my location to view the items I have on display showing the same craftsmanship as all of my pieces .The customer signed a contract which I use for everyone considering purchasing from me which I have attached a blank copy of for review and have the one with her signature if needed. As you can see the contract clearly lays out my terms of work. It also explicitly states that if any part of the contract is not agreeable then DO NOT SIGN IT. This customer did sign it willingly.Signing a legally binding contract requires one to abide by that contract and I feel that my offer of store credit was very generous. If the customer felt that my contract was “yelling at you the whole entire process” then she should not have signed it as she is a business owner as well and even joked about the need for contracts such as these, for customers such as she.To me this sounds like a disgruntled customer who is only trying to damage my reputation despite my attempts to reconcile the issue amicably. I would ask that this be removed from the Revdex.com system if possible as it is a petty attempt to achieve her goal of damage to my business.Please let me know if you need all the text messaging and correspondence from this transaction as I have it all saved Thank you

His attached contract is a blank contract. This guy is is VERY unprofessional. This company is severely lacking in customer service skills. As you can read from his contract, he shouts at the customer the entire time. This was a red flag I overlooked. Like others I got sucked in to his misleading images of his work on his FB page. He has only 37 reviews on his FB page. I on the other hand have over 100 reviews on my FB business page, over 2400 positive reviews on my business website and I'm also an accredited Revdex.com member. But this isn't about our company as we clearly know how to handle even our most unsatisfied customers. Yes I said I would l post on his business page about the garbage he built us. What did he do after that?? HE BLOCKED MY RIGHT AS A CUSTOMER TO LEAVE A REVIEW ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE WITH HIS BUSINESS. If he was not in the wrong why would he have blocked me. Please see image to prove that he did block me. I'm only asking for a partial refund. He he can't agree to that then I ask the Revdex.com to please leave this leave this business review up on your page as he took my rights away on his FB page. Considering that the contract that she signed listed that there would be no refunds regardless of change of mind or feelings about products I feel a fairly offered her an alternative which she graciously excepted at first. After saying that her husband took the entire table apart she then began to send nasty messages which I no longer want to participate in and was not going to respond in a disrespectful manner so yes I blocked her from my page As you can see by the attached text messages I did everything within my power to appease the customer. Considering that the contract that she signed listed that there would be no refunds regardless of change of mind or feelings about products I feel a fairly offered her an alternative which she graciously excepted at first. It is very evident by the tone of her message that this is simply an attempt to bully me into a position which I will refuse to be bullied into any person who signs a contract should be smart enough to read it fully and understand it fully. Not only does my contract I Layout to terms upon which I will do work but it also says in capital letters do not sign the contract if you do not feel that this work or style of work is for you. This is all simply an attempt to damage my reputation due to the fact that she was not pleased with one aspect of the custom furniture that I made for her. And though I may not have as many reviews on my sites I have a successful business because I am able to provide satisfactory custom-made projects to all my customers otherwise for the amount of time that I have been in business there would have been more complaints or more negative reviews. I will not be bullied into a returnOr a refund because as clearly stated in the contract refunds are not granted and this would set a precedence for anyone who subjectively did not appreciate the work that I do to simply demand I give them their money back and I cannot allow that as I am a single person business. Again I ask that this review we not used to hinder my business as it is clearly the rantings of a very upset person who is simply trying to damage my Livelihood and business acumen over her feelings. I am rejecting this response because:
I understand he had me sign a contract that say NO REFUNDS. However, I don't feel this should apply to poorly done work. He had 3 months to finish this but yet started the project 3 days before I was supposed to pick it up. This is why I feel like he rushed it. As you can see from the text messages I told him I was happy with the living room set. So I don't feel I'm being unreasonable or trying to "bully" him as he states. He lied to me about the completion of the work, I rented a truck for the first pickup date and he neglected to tell me that all the pieces were not done until the day of that we were supposed to go get them. This is VERY unprofessional. Using the covid 19 as an excuse for poor communication is also unacceptable. He offered me a credit, but at this point I don't want to wait another 3 months for another piece of his work. Its ridiculous. I would be satisfied with the received the same $400 credit in a refund. He he is not willing to do this, then I ask the Revdex.com to please just post my feedback on his profile on the Revdex.com page and call it done. I don't have time to go back and forth with someone like this.
