I am rejecting this response because:I am not disputing the business claim that they mailed invoices. However, the collection agency confirmed to me that both of those invoices were returned to the business as undeliverable. Neither of them was forwarded to my PO box as every other piece of mail was. I have to assume the bills were marked "Do Not Forward". If only had been returned I may assume post office error but I can't come to any other conclusion knowing that both of them were returned. So, the business has returned invoices, and my phone # and email address, and they turn this over to a collection agency without any attempt to contact me. I paid the total amount due upon first contact by the collection agency. I have offered to share my year credit history with the business that shows not one single late payment in years. Because I closed the majority of my revolving accounts after my divorce several years ago this single item is having a very significant negative impact on my credit score and I am a single mom with children in college trying to purchase a home Again, I attempted to pay the contractor when he completed the work but he said he could not take payment as he was not authorized to and he could not confirm the exact amount either. Please advise next steps. I am planning to file a claim in small claims court. Thank you,*** *** - ***

According to All Seasons Electric account records an invoice was produced and mailed to the customer supplied address on occasionsThe 1st invoice was sent shortly after the work was completed the 2nd aproximately days after the 1st with a detailed letter indicating that the account was in
default and would be turned over to collections Since we did not receive a response from the customer the account was turned over to collections
