Hi ....... So when the customer called me initially in regards to the wrong gauge sink I was in Maryland with my husband who does all of the installs and templates.  It was an honest mistake.  We have a new girl in the shop who is doing a great job and noticed the slab for [redacted]'s job was not delivered.  We called her on Saturday before Monday morning to let her know that we were running behind on the job.  We did install Tuesday morning....... the morning after her scheduled install.  We were keeping her updated on the job.  We apologize for so many phone calls.  We would rather you be informed than not informed.  When I returned back to Cincinnati I called and made arrangements to switch out the sink and reconnect plumbing.  The morning or afternoon of that appointment she cancelled via voicemail.  We had discussed earlier that there is only a $25.00 difference in price on the sink so that is what I would reimburse her.  We were negoitiating all of these things while contacting the Revdex.com.  Im cool with the Revdex.com but I believe that you should probably only use one avenue..... either we figure it out over the phone or via this method, not both.  So we did mail out the refund of $25.00.The kitchen is gorgeous...... and was in working order.  So I did schedule to repair rather than have other people wait that have nothing to work with.  I apologize if that was the wrong judgement call but again we are a very small business and we would go above and beyond if it was broken and not functioning in some way. We were more than ready to switch that out for you.  It was an honest mistake and I have sent out the refund.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My request was to have the sink replaced or to receive a refund.  Due to the way I was treated by the company after I filed my Revdex.com compliant, I chose to cancel the sink replacement.  My husband and I did not feel safe nor trust allowing a member of this company back into our home.  I have never received a $25 refund.  During my conversations with Mary Kate, I did lower my request from a full sink reimbursement to 1/2 the cost of the sink, $100.  I think this is more than a fair request considering the multiple "honest mistakes" this company has made.  Mary Kate has never been to or seen my home, but yes, my kitchen is beautiful.  Their counter top and sink installation was a small part of that.  The paining and cabinet install that we completed ourselves was a big part to making our kitchen beautiful.  I do not feel a $25 reimburse covers the multiple mistakes made by this company nor the tone I received from a supposed owner after I filed my Revdex.com complaint, which is my right as a consumer.  I will continue to escalate my complaint to the Attorney General if necessary.

I did hear back from one of the owners, Mary...

Kate, of Bella Stone the day I filed the compliant.  She was very upset and yelled at me on the phone for filing the compliant.  She did offer to have her husband come out to our home and replace the sink; however, in the beginning she was not willing to interrupt any other customer schedules in order to complete our job appropriately.  I did request a $100 reimbursement for all the errors vs. a sink replacement, which she was completely against.  We finally settled on a date to replace the sink; however, my husband and I decided we did not want them coming to our home after the way I was spoke to on the phone by an owner.  He did not feel safe or comfortable allowing them in our home.  When I called the owner back to advise, she again began yelling at me on the phone.  At that time, I told her I did not wish to speak to her any longer, and I wanted everything addressed through the Revdex.com complaint.  To this date, nothing has been resolved.
