I am the owner of *** B, a condo in Boca Raton, Florida. A new electrical panel was required to meet code. The price of a new panel was paid to be installed with closing of the condo purchase. 0n 12/23/2017. The new panel was installed by All-Pro Electrical and Air Conditioning *** S. *** Boca Raton FL XXXXX) on or about 02/09/2018. I paid for the permit and am required to have the Permit in my possession by the Century Village Condo Association. I made numerous telephone calls to All-Pro Electrical requesting the permit to no avail.
Other (requires explanation) I want the permitfor my records. I Request Revdex.com for help to secure my permit. Thank You.
We are sorry for any inconvenience.
A copy of the permit was mailed twice and emailed, there is also the option to visit pbc.gov where the permit can be found on public records.
GT-XX-XXXX generator outlet installed 8/16/2013. Not used until hurricane irma, since no power outages until that time. When used for first time,
equipment did not work properly. Had to remove bolts in order to force equipment into position. I called all pro several times to ask someone to come out and inspect the equipment to verify that something was incorrect. After several attempts to contact them, ***, I believe he is press of company told me that the equipment is only under warranty for one year, and there is nothing they can do. He refused to send someone to see the problem. I live 5 minutes from there office. The mailing address they gave me is *** S *** Suite 16, Boca Raton FL XXXXX. The cost of installation was $798.42. All I want is for someone to look at the installation. If the product was installed incorrectly, I would expect the situation to be rectified, regardless of warranty issue. If the error is on my part, I will accept that. It is very poor customer service for them to not at least address my concern.
Have someone come to my location to determine what the problem is, and what the solution is.

Consumer: ***
Mr. had a generator outlet installed on 8/16/13, which he paid in full upon completion of the job. He was informed at the time of installation that there would be a one-year warranty on equipment and service. The equipment was installed correctly at the time of installation and he was instructed on its proper use. There should be no reason to suspect that over four years later that the equipment was not installed properly.
During that time, Mr. states he attempted to use the outlet. He never contacted All-Pro Electrical to say he was having difficulty using the outlet. He did however contact All-Pro Electrical approximately two months after using it and said he had broken off bolts in an attempt to force the equipment. Improperly using the equipment and removing the bolts would have nullified any warranty if it had been within the time frame.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did not contact them two months after, but immediately after hurricane Irma, which is when I first used the equipment. During the Hurricane, I had to break the bolts in order to operate the device. They said when I originally contacted them that they were too swamped to respond, so I waited to hear back from them. I never did and finally contacted them afterwards. If someone from All Pro came out and saw the equipment, it would be obvious that it doesn't work as designed. The bolts had to be broken off in order to force the equipment to work at all. It is not a matter of improperly using the equipment. If the have no reason to suspect that the equipment was not installed properly, then a five minute drive to my house, and a two minute inspection of the equipment should be sufficient to verify that. Hurricane Irma was the first time that I had any reason to use the equipment.
With the likely hood of Mr. losing power due to the hurricane, he should have attempted to make sure that the equipment was functioning properly and called All-Pro Electrical at that time if it did not or if he needed assistance in its use. The company would have come out at that time to inspect and instruct him again on the proper use of the equipment, thus preventing him from breaking bolts and improperly using the outlet. With weathering and unforeseen other issues that could take place within the four-year time frame, it is not the responsibility of our company to go out to every job that we have performed to assess problems when the homeowner has admittedly broken or misused the equipment. The fact that Mr. is five minutes from our office is irrelevant as this is not where all of our employees and trucks begin their day.
