All My Son's Movers and Storage moved and stored my belongings. My love seat hide-a-bed was in very good condition before this company moved and stored it in their facility before moving it from their storage facility to my new apartment. I slept on this hide-a-bed for 2 nights before it was moved by this company. At my new apartment, I went to pull out the hide-a-bed, and its was very difficult to pull out. I contacted the company that I purchased this love seat from, and they came out and looked at it, and they told me that the mechanism was bent. They explained that movers are notorious at damaging and ruining property especially hide-a-bed mechanisms. They really do a job of bending the mechanisms because they aren't being careful. If the mechanism gets moved in the wrong way, that's how the movers can bend and break things. The company told me that its going to cost $300.00 to get a new mechanism, because the mechanism can't be straightened. The hide-a-bed is unsafe to sleep on. The bed is sloped towards the back of the love seat, and this has weakened the mechanism. This company also lost the Queen size bed frame to my bed, and brought a bed frame that never would have fit my Queen size bed. They sent me a check to purchase a Queen size bed frame, but, they told me the claim is now closed, because they only will take 1 claim per move. That's ridiculous!!! They won't replace or pay to have my love seat hide-a-bed mechanism fixed. I thought that's what these companies are insured for. They bent my hide-a-bed mechanism, and they tell me that its my problem, not theirs!! Why not, their movers were the ones that bent the mechanism to the hide-a-bed, not me. It was fine until their movers, moved and stored my hide-a-bed in their storage units, and probably crammed it in so it would fit. If I could, I would send you pictures of the damage that they did to that mechanism on my hide-a-bed. I paid alot of money for the love seat hide-a-bed, for relatives to sleep on, now its not useable or safe.

Complaint no.***This claim is very serious!!! It's more important than the bed frame, which the missing bed frame is also unexcusable. This hide-a-bed was perfectly usable before their movers manhandled and incorrectly mistreated the moving and storage of this furniture item. This item was purchase for the feature of the hide-a-bed, to be used in the living room as a bedroom for a relative to visit, approved by the state as an acceptable bed for my disabled relative to sleep on when they visit. With the hide-a-bed damaged and unuseable, its not safe with the mechanism bent, and the only option evaluated by LazBoy, the company I purchased it from, is to replace the mechanism, it can't be straightened, the estimated cost is $300.00 to replace the mechanism. The answer from All My Sons, is only an answer showing they are denying their responsibility about the damaged hide-a-bed. Their wasn't anything at all wrong with this hide-a-bed before they moved it.By state law as a guardian, I need this hide-a-bed restored to its original condition before this moving company trashed and damaged it, making it unsafe to use. This relatives visits are vital to their well-being since they doesn't live with me, but, they need the visits, or their will be attitude problems without the visits. Thay can't visit if their isn't an acceptable place for them to sleep, and thats what the hide-a-bed was purchased for. They can't share a bed, it needs to be their own bed.If this company wants their $75.00 back for the darn bed frame claim, they can have it back, so this hide-a-bed can be fixed and useable again. I'm on a very limited income, and the cost of this hide-a-bed put a good dent in my saving, but, I knew how important and vital it was to purchase it.All My Sons movers weren't very careful in moving and storing my love seat hide-a-bed, thats how they damaged it. They are responsible for mistreating this item of furniture. I would just like to get the cost of getting my hide-a-bed fixed, so my relative can start visiting again.I don't feel that I should be responsible for the cost of getting the hide-a-bed fix when their wasn't anything wrong with it at all before this company moved it. They should be held responsible. I know from now on, when I move, I will look at ever single piece of furniture ever moved on the same day its moved, and I will never trust movers ever again, after this incident with these movers. They just don't want to be held responsible for things they damage, to them its the customers problem instead of theirs, and thats not right. It should be that they damage something they move, they should fix it, or pay to have it fixed, or get out of the moving business.Consumers don't need to put up with this kind of crap from moving companies at all. Companies have insurance to cover damage to property damaged in a move, all damages and claims, not just one claim. If they damage it, their responsible for taking care of the damage they caused.Thank you.
