To whom it concerns:
I am sending a complaint regarding “All My Sons” moving business located at 4825 N. 1st Ave., Tucson, Arizona.
I had contracted with them to move 2 households on the same day. Pick up at one and drop it at another where they were to take (move) items from that house back to the original house they began at.
The crew of 3 were on time, efficient, and professional in completing the job., They inadvertently charged me an extra hour on my credit card. When I brought it to the attention of the head fellow on the crew before they left the last drop off, he said to me he would request a refund of the overcharges. I told him that I would use that refund to tip each of the 3 man crew and I would drop the tips ($) off at their business. He said that in the past that the money might not get to them if I didn’t hand to them directly. I wasn’t sure how that could happen, not knowing their schedules.
Therefore a couple weeks later I stopped at the N. 1st Ave office and explained that the envelope I was handing over was tip money for the 3. I had written their names on the envelope. The guy at the desk and his coworker at the desk behind him assured me that the tips would get to the correct guys.
Today I happened to bump into one of the crew and asked if he got his tip. He said no he had not.
So I then stopped by the business office to ask and followup aout this;
The guy I spoke with listened and then asked me the names of the fellow I handed the money to. I said I did not have a name for him or the second guy at the other desk.
He then said there was nothing he could do without their names.
At this point I got angry b/c it seemed that there wasn’t going to be any avenue to get the money to the correct 3 workers.
I said (probably should not have in hindsight) that I would indicate to others (friends, associates, etc.) that I would deter them from using All My Sons, if the need came up for them to require a moving company in the future. He also got upset and told me to leave. I tried to apologize for going in the direction (anger) I had, and would like to find a solution to the situation.
He was not interested at all and at this point he told me to ‘get out of my office’ and if I would’t he would call the police.
So I left.
I do not know if he will make any attempt to find the money and get it to the workers who it was to go to; sadly I do not think it will hqppen given his posture and tone when I left.

Moved from 1089 sq.ft apt. I did all the packing and moved boxes to new address. The 3 young men who did the loading took
over 2hrs.to load truck. They didn't bring but 2 clothes boxes. Packed them so tight with part of my clothes the rods broke and all clothes went to bottom of box. Left all the rest of clothes. 0nly drove 10 miles to new address. I left after them, 30 min. later
they showed up. I was quoted $450. on phone with me doing the packing. Driver called office for amt.they told me $1000. I told him what I was quoted and that was what I would pay. He told driver to lock truck and bring furniture back to office I paid the $1000. but was protesting the amt. My husband has Parkinsons and needed to get him to bed. When unloaded truck my grandfather clock was broken. Have had clock man out 3 times to get it running right. They dropped my computer desk it broke all to pieces. They lost panel off back of entertainment center. Dresser had scratchs on it. Kitchen chairs backs had the same. Never took wrapping off of entertainment center, chest drawer. Tracked grease on my carpeting.Must have hauled dresser upon end, everything in drawers had fallen out inside back of dresser. It was the worse move out of 12 we have ever had. My friend used them to move from a 3 bedroom house, they did their packing they were chgd. $500.I guess because we are 85yr old they just thought we would pay it. I have talked to them several times. The owner will not take my calls. They did not give me a copy of the bill. I have called 2Xs they told me they would mail it. I still have not received it. Owner told me because it took 6 hrs to move us, They got there at1:45 Left here at 5:45.
Reaching out to the customer to and to resolve
I am rejecting this offer. It doesn’t even come close to a fair offer.
I have almost that amount in damages from the 3 young men who handled this move.
They must not have been trained. They certainly didn’t do a good moving job for us.
They charged $107.28 for fuel charge after *** told me he wouldn’t charge a
Fuel charge since I thought the amount for moving was too high. I went by today
Tuesday, Dec. 3 to get a copy of my bill as they wouldn’t even send me one.
Mark, I get sick at my stomach every time I have to talk about this move. The
Owner of All my sons here is rude and a liar.
So, no I am not accepting this offer, like my lawyer said maybe he needs to get involved.

Got another reply from ***, I will not settle for this, they way overcharged for the movewant to give me $500 . Nothing for the damages. How do they justify moving my friend from a 3 bedroom house for $500. Move us from a 1089 sq. ft. Apt for a $1000.?
