The tenants did call for a toilet overflowing and they told us they had already called a restoration company which was the same company we would have called and have done business with in the pastAt the time of the call we instructed them to turn off the waterThere response was the matter had
been taken care of as the kids had stopped up the toilet and they had cleared the issueWe additionally sent a plumber to check out the toilet for a malfunction and they told us there were no issues with the toilet and was in proper working orderIt does state in there lease that stoppages caused by the tenants are the responsibility of the tenantWe have worked with the restoration company and insurance company to expedite the repairsWe can not control the process and the time it takes for the insurance company and restoration company to remedy the situationPrior to this leak there had not been any maintenance request to service the toiletAs for the carpet, the insurance company would only allow for the existing carpet to be used againthe restoration company did tell us the carpet is delaminating and can not be used so we have put in for appeal for a new carpet replacementWe recommend to all tenants to purchase renters insurance that would help them with these issues and they choose not toIt is unfortunate this happened and we feel for the tenantsAt this time we are standing by our decision unless instructed by the owner or the owners legal representation

We unregretfully reject this response because:  We do not agree.  Statements made in this response from Alamo All County Property Management are not true based on the following.  Tenants followed procedure operating/ disabling plumbing system.  Plumber showed up to tenant residence deemed that two toilets would be replaced/ repaired.  The plumber never returned to remedy these findings nor did the plumber give notice he would not return.  In addition repair request to dry wall, electrical outlets, dust/debris, water soiled carpet, floor damage and other findings have not be satisfied.  Certified letters have been sent to include numerous emails and phone calls to Alamo All County.  We agree this is unfortunate and stand by our claim and have taken appropriate actions.
